    You are now the crowned "Perogi King"! Thank you Jordan for vlogging Krakow in your great signature way! Perfect! Also thank you for your reverent way you volgged Auschwitz and Birkenau. Not the happiest places on earth, but folks need to know what happened there. Great to see Wawel Castle again. As I mentioned, my sister is interred there. Carry on sir!

    Poland is so much more beautiful than I ever imagined. Thanks for the eye opener. Your vlogs of the past two days exemplified why I support you. You presented an ugly part of history in a respectful manner and you really touched my heart. There's so much more to you than just Hollywood. BTW, you handled those interviews in Hollywood like a trouper. I interviewed celebrities for 30 years and you're getting to be as good as Carson and Griffin. Great work. Can't wait 'till tomorrow.

    Jordan you have a wonderful eye for filming buildings, chapels,landscapes and so on. You manage to capture the beauty in such a way as to make me feel like I was there besides you. You should take up photography or filming. National geographic always looks for photographers. Imagine, you could go all over the world doing what you love and do best all at their expense. Thanks for all you do.

    Who knew Poland was so beautiful. Had no idea that the country where my great grandmother barely missed being trapped by the war against the communists, hailed from. She was a devout Catholic, now I can see why. When she finally settled in Chicago, her (and the rest of the family’s) home parish was St Stanislaw! Now I need to go! (btw, she and my grandmother made an awesome perogie!) Thank you Jordan!

    So much repair work has to be done to most old buildings in Europe, but it's worth seeing the scaffold when it means the buildings will last another 100+ years.

    I was getting worried about todays show. It usually comes up earlier. Glad to see ur ok. If u go back to visit again u should plan on one of the river tours. The evening dinner event is amazing. The palace is always hard to get into but if u go and wait at least an hour before tours begin u will have better luck. The Castle is easy to pronounce in polish. Of course the dialect changes. But in that region the W is to sound like a V. In others if u have 2 W’s in a word/name the first one is to be a V and the second is an F. Somehow though English is the hardest language to learn 🤪. As always stay safe and enjoy every second of ur journey.

    The Bishop has a mitre and staff. The staff because he shepherds the flock of God. The Church believes the Apostles were the first Bishops of the Church and the Holy Spirit came down and their was a flame or tongue of fire above their heads-Acts 2:3 Now Bishops wear the mitre to represent that occasion and to show that they are Bishops and usually wear them during ceremonies. It’s tradition. That’s what is on top of the Church on the Rock.

    I'm not 100% but I think that John Paul II 's heart went to Poland, and the rest of him is of course buried at the Vatican. I am wondering if what you saw was part of it.

    • @bunnymomjulie6719
      @bunnymomjulie6719 6 років тому

      I'm sorry-- I got so excited I looked online and all I could find is that his blood is at this cathedral and also in the altar of the very modern church that was built to honor him. Yep, I guess I'm one of those dumb viewers that start to comment before I know anything I'm talking about. Thanks Jordan for showing us all these incredible places!

    • @bunnymomjulie6719
      @bunnymomjulie6719 6 років тому

      But at 3:55, I think that modern looking reliquary on the altar in front of JPII's portrait more likely contains his blood. I think the altar with the book is the one dedicated to the persecuted bishop you spoke of, which is also the site where JPII said his first mass as a new priest. Perhaps there is blood there too!

    I Love The Vlog... I Will Just Never Understand The Do Not Film Or Take Picture Thing... I Have Gotten That A Few Times As Well... They Should Want The Name And Place To Be Shown To The Masses... Just Another Reason Catholicism Is Falling Away From The People... It's Almost Like They Have Something To Hide... You Can Not Go Into A Church Of Jehovah Witnesses And Most Of Their Churches Don't Have Windows Either.... Good Work Jordan....
