Hey Luca! Thank you for sharing your video of such a pleasant trek.
Just a few comments if you don't mind. Maybe helpful not in relation with your experience but with someone's of an inexperienced fellow reading this.
In my country we not allowed to cut a live wood. Dead wood only. With the wood at 6:55 all with green needles/leaves you would gonna have some huge troubles - believe me. I don't know how it happens in Italy and I'm curious to know since I have some plans to trek in more or less the same area - tell me. I can also see that wood is not completely dead when you saw and fire it.
Sorry to say, but your grill net is a jerk. 1) with all this folding mechanism it's pretty difficult to clean and sooner or later it will jam for sure, 2) it's obviously made of solid stainless steel and heavy.
Next, as a BBQ enthusiast I would never recommend you to cook anything on the open fire either bread or meat or vegies. Always wait to the hot charcoals. With no fire. You need a hot temperature to cook not ann open fire which will quickly burn your food without cooking it.
Instead of your heavy grill net take a full size knife with you of extra 140-180 grams. Something similar to Bark River Kephart. You have a wonderful Leatherman multitool - just like mine .Keep it but be aware it's a disaster to cook or to eat with it. Better a knifi wieth NO folding mechanism where all food may jam for years. A full size knife is the perfect option and much handy than a heavy stainless steel grill net. Less weight you have better it is. In any case what matters it's the pleasure to trek not a new record.
