When Phil sings I smile watching him. I think, oh, he's got such a lovely voice and great performance skills. Then, about halfway thru, I suddenly start worshipping The Lord. Phil has a unique gift...God transcends Phil's voice and suddenly fills the worship with His Presence, as Phil takes a backseat and let's The Lord inhabit the Praise of His people. A unique gift indeed. The Holy Spirit is alive and well. Thank you Mr. Wickham for letting God use you this way!

Struggling with a lyric in this song since I’ll be singing it in church. “That you would bear my cross.” Jesus says in Matthew 16:24 “If anyone come after me, let him pick up his cross and follow me.” God does not carry our cross for us. We carry it for Christ. God just gives us the strength. We have a lot of work to do and we aren’t supposed to spend it on good vibes, but to preach the gospel to the lost and to feed God’s sheep.
