    that wal-mart greeter is exactly why i would get fired from my previous gas station job. if a Karen would come in angry asking to see the manager, i would straight up tell em to leave, without speaking to the manager, and that they can come back when they learn to behave like a reasonable adult.

      When I was working as a butcher in a supermarket, I was alone at around 5pm and went to the toilet for 5min, I made sure no one was waiting before I left and of course this one lady came when I wasn’t here.
      After I finished I went back to work and saw her waiting, so I go greet her, excuse myself for not being there
      And this lady starts to get angry at me for taking so long.
      I was polite at first but she kept going and at one point I had enough I said : listen I don’t have a karcher, now what do you want ?
      She was speechless 😂
      And when she left she made sure to report it to the manager lmao, well guess what, she never came back and no one cared about this. But my colleagues had a good laugh after I told them

    How to play solitaire:
    The first objective is to release and play into position certain cards to build up each foundation, in sequence and in suit, from the ace through the king. The ultimate objective is to build the whole pack onto the foundations, and if that can be done, the Solitaire game is won.
    To set up, seven piles need to be created. Starting from left to right, place the first card face up to make the first pile, deal one card face down for the next six piles. Starting again from left to right, place one card face up on the second pile and deal one card face down on piles three through seven. Starting again from left to right, place one card face up on the third pile and deal one card face down on piles four through seven. Continue this pattern until pile seven has one card facing up on top of a pile of six cards facing down. The remaining cards form the stock (or “hand”) pile and are placed above the tableau. When starting out, the foundations and waste pile do not have any cards.
    The initial array may be changed by "building" - transferring cards among the face-up cards in the tableau. Certain cards of the tableau can be played at once, while others may not be played until certain blocking cards are removed. For example, of the seven cards facing up in the tableau, if one is a nine and another is a ten, you may transfer the nine to on top of the ten to begin building that pile in sequence. Since you have moved the nine from one of the seven piles, you have now unblocked a face down card; this card can be turned over and now is in play.
    As you transfer cards in the tableau and begin building sequences, if you uncover an ace, the ace should be placed in one of the foundation piles. The foundations get built by suit and in sequence from ace to king.
    Continue to transfer cards on top of each other in the tableau in sequence. If you can’t move any more face up cards, you can utilize the stock pile by flipping over the first card. This card can be played in the foundations or tableau. If you cannot play the card in the tableau or the foundations piles, move the card to the waste pile and turn over another card in the stock pile.
    If a vacancy in the tableau is created by the removal of cards elsewhere it is called a “space”, and it is of major importance in manipulating the tableau. If a space is created, it can only be filled in with a king. Filling a space with a king could potentially unblock one of the face down cards in another pile in the tableau.
    Continue to transfer cards in the tableau and bring cards into play from the stock pile until all the cards are built in suit sequences in the foundation piles to win.

      agreed, as a weightlifter with a dad in sports medicine it takes a long time to gain strength, esp when youre first learning to because your body is getting used to the motion. but it all works out in the end :)

      @@lilricebowl9731 Im not the best swimmer, but I went snorkeling in Mexico. They make it beginner friendly (it was an adult only beach btw) and gave life jackets for everyone and allowed people in the water as they wanted after that. I understand if it stated it was for experienced swimmers, but some do allow for beginners to be able to join.

I feel that these types of activities should state the experience level to avoid instances like this. Its a safe bet to always assume that it isn't and either contact the company to confirm or find one that does state it.

    Sandwich man episode 100% does happen in real life. It's not even like they would need to have a meeting and and decide "this is what we will do if sandwich man is accosted" ... all it takes is one homeless breh to sound the alarm, and it doesn't take that many braincells to work out that traumatised or unhappy sandwich man = less or no sandwiches.
    Even crows remember the humans who are kind to them, and they tell their crow buddies about it so that the whole murder looks out for that particular human. It's just something that happens naturally.

    I was homeless for two years, and yeah, it is like that. Good people who treat you like an actual human and not like a piece of trash are incredibly rare.
    A similar thing happened to a guy who held up a bodega near the homeless shelter. The owner was a really nice old man who helped us out on a regular basis. The guy even gave me a job at one point, which helped me pull myself out of that situation.
    Needless to say, the guy who held him up got caught quick and got a swift beating.

      If the Grandma had a daughter at 18 (pregnant shortly after 17, kinda bad but not the absolute worst case scenario), and her daughter also had a daughter at 18, the grandma would be 36 by the time the granddaughter was born. The granddaughter would not be 18 until the grandma turns 54 at minimum. Somewhere down the line, a total of 8 years were shaved off of that. Uh oh.
      If the grandma and mother had their daughter at 16 (pregnant shortly after turning 15, this is where things are getting really bad), the grandma would be 32 by the time her granddaughter was born, then her granddaughter would be 16 by the time the grandma is 48. Still, 2 years are shaved off somewhere, so someone gave birth at 14, the granddaughter is 14, or 2 of them at 15 (or 1 gave birth at 15 and the granddaughter is 15). This is literally the least screwed scenario for this family mathematically. Its either fake or one hell of a nasty case. Factor in the Alabama, and we officially have a certified trailer park moment.

    How to play solitaire:
    There's a deck of cards at the top somewhere either far right or far left. You click that to draw more cards.
    Your goal is to get the cards on the 2nd row to go from K to 2, alternating between red and black. The four Aces go at the very top and once you have all four up there you can start putting the cards back into piles organized by suit. Ace, 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,J,Q,K. You can move full columns of cards on the 2nd row to reveal any face down cards.
    You've won when you have no cards left in the deck and 4 neat piles sorted by suit at the top.

    1:59 Man that second paragraph reminds me of a lady I saw today after I got done working at Walmart (I restock Pepsi products there, I don't work for Walmart). Me and my brother walk out and hear this lady absolutely berating her I think 5 kids. My brother said he say her pull a girl by her hair and he felt the urge to go up to the mom and tell her off. Absolutely shitting parent. Don't have children, especially 5, if you can't take care of them. I worry for the future of those kids.

    My sister could never work in fast food. She has a perfect customer service voice from working at a zoo in the gift shop for three years but if a customer is rude to her she doesn't hold back.     Solitaire is actually super easy I learned while weining off of social media.
    Your aces will go at the top.
    You take the cards you start with and arrange them into rows starting with king, then queen, 10, 9, etc.
    And it has to rotate colour so like a red 10, black 9, red 8, black 7 etc.
    When you find an ace you put it at the top and when you find a 2 of the same suit you put it on top of the ace. You keep placing the next highest number on the top piles until your finished.
    But you can mess up and run out of moves to make before completing the piles and if that happens it's game over.

    Many Solitaire games can be played on areas smaller than a card table. Others require a larger playing area, and these games are often played on the floor or on a bedspread. Alternatively, in order to play with large layouts on a card table, miniature playing cards are available. These are usually half the size of standard playing cards.
    THE PACK
    Virtually all Solitaire games are played with one or more standard 52-card packs. Standard Solitaire uses one 52-card pack.
    OBJECT OF THE GAME
    The first objective is to release and play into position certain cards to build up each foundation, in sequence and in suit, from the ace through the king. The ultimate objective is to build the whole pack onto the foundations, and if that can be done, the Solitaire game is won.
    RANK OF CARDS
    The rank of cards in Solitaire games is: K (high), Q, J, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, A (low).
    THE DEAL
    There are four different types of piles in Solitaire:
    The Tableau: Seven piles that make up the main table.
    The Foundations: Four piles on which a whole suit or sequence must be built up. In most Solitaire games, the four aces are the bottom card or base of the foundations. The foundation piles are hearts, diamonds, spades, and clubs.
    The Stock (or “Hand”) Pile: If the entire pack is not laid out in a tableau at the beginning of a game, the remaining cards form the stock pile from which additional cards are brought into play according to the rules.
    The Talon (or “Waste”) Pile: Cards from the stock pile that have no place in the tableau or on foundations are laid face up in the waste pile.
    To form the tableau, seven piles need to be created. Starting from left to right, place the first card face up to make the first pile, deal one card face down for the next six piles. Starting again from left to right, place one card face up on the second pile and deal one card face down on piles three through seven. Starting again from left to right, place one card face up on the third pile and deal one card face down on piles four through seven. Continue this pattern until pile seven has one card facing up on top of a pile of six cards facing down.
    The remaining cards form the stock (or “hand”) pile and are placed above the tableau.
    When starting out, the foundations and waste pile do not have any cards.
    THE PLAY
    The initial array may be changed by "building" - transferring cards among the face-up cards in the tableau. Certain cards of the tableau can be played at once, while others may not be played until certain blocking cards are removed. For example, of the seven cards facing up in the tableau, if one is a nine and another is a ten, you may transfer the nine to on top of the ten to begin building that pile in sequence. Since you have moved the nine from one of the seven piles, you have now unblocked a face down card; this card can be turned over and now is in play.
    As you transfer cards in the tableau and begin building sequences, if you uncover an ace, the ace should be placed in one of the foundation piles. The foundations get built by suit and in sequence from ace to king.
    Continue to transfer cards on top of each other in the tableau in sequence. If you can’t move any more face up cards, you can utilize the stock pile by flipping over the first card. This card can be played in the foundations or tableau. If you cannot play the card in the tableau or the foundations piles, move the card to the waste pile and turn over another card in the stock pile.
    If a vacancy in the tableau is created by the removal of cards elsewhere it is called a “space”, and it is of major importance in manipulating the tableau. If a space is created, it can only be filled in with a king. Filling a space with a king could potentially unblock one of the face down cards in another pile in the tableau.
    Continue to transfer cards in the tableau and bring cards into play from the stock pile until all the cards are built in suit sequences in the foundation piles to win!

      an important part you left out is you can only move a card onto another if they're opposite colours, to build on your example you could only move the nine if its a heart/diamond and ten is spade/club or vice versa

    The sandwich man story is much like what I experienced working in a small store in a bad area. I always did favor for the bums, and neighborhood folk. After 6 months of working there my bosses did an inventory and were pleasantly surprised that theft had dropped 15%. As we talked about I explained a lot of the neighborhood guys would track down shoplifters that had got out of the store and make them come back and pay for what they stole. All because me and the other night shift guy would do them favors. Made some of the best friends I have had in this life working at that store.
    If my kids loved "K-Pop" I would have got the same poster but knowing exactly who I was putting up. They would have been really mad at me then, but would be laughing about it now. Like when I told my youngest I had to sell her birthday so I could pay rent and we would not be able to have a birthday party for her that year. But I was sure I could buy it back before the next birthday. She really made me proud though. She was, of course, devistated to learn she would not have a birthday party, but then said it was better for us to have a house to live than to have a party. As I sat feeling like a crumb, and trying to figure the best way to explain it was just a joke she came back to me.
    "Dad. Why would somebody buy a birthday when they get one for free on the day they are born?"
    I started laughing, then she grabbed my ears and gave me a serious head butt. We both saw stars from that one, but I figured I deserved it. We both get a good laugh when we reminisce about it these days though... she is 29 now.

    As for that first story, can you JUST IMAGINE how messed up grandma's kid is going to be !!? Not only is ahe old enough to tell you what Moses parting the red sea was like but she will be birthing her OWN GREAT GRANDCHILD!! There are SO MANY complications that could potentially go wrong with this poor kid it's just not even funny .     Hey man, nothing to think too much on. Playing solitaire is literally as easy as counting backwards from 10 and knowing the rankings of "royalty". (Kings, are number one, Queens are next in line, knaves or jacks are 3rd ranked.) And remembering red and black alternate. So red K, black Q, red J, black 10, red 9, black 8...red 3, black 2, then red Ace in most versions of solitaire is considered "1" but it's kinda like a "seal the deal" kinda thing. Once you have been able to get all your cards in the correct order and all are accounted for, you win.
    There are multiple variations of solitaire though and each has their own set of rules. But I basically summed up the most common and simple version there is.
    It can be a pretty fun game, I recommend you give it a try and who knows, maybe it'll be something you really enjoy.

    0:27-2:00 Okay, so after some serious family math, I figured out what happened with the pregnant grandma. Let’s say your dad gets with his mom and they have a son. That would make that kid your uncle (because he and the dad share the same mom) and your brother (since you and the kid share the same dad), and you also would of course share the same grandma. So one of her parents must have slept with one of their parents when they were like 20 or something and gave this woman an uncle-brother, who she then married 🥴.
    Then her husband got with granny and they are having a kid. So that kid would be all of the following to the woman in the post:
    - Stepchild (child of her husband by another woman)
    - Pibling (child of her grandma)
    - Cousin/nibling (child of her uncle-brother)
    - The great grandchild of her grandma (child of the grandson)
    *Note that this also means that not only did grandma possibly sleep with her own son and grandson, but she also gave birth to her own son, grandson, AND great grandson.
    Hope this is a little easier to understand. My brain is officially destroyed after this 🫠. You’re welcome.

    To play solitaire, try to get all of the cards into 4 foundation piles, 1 pile per suit, in ascending order from ace to king. Once you finish all 4 foundation piles, you win! To set up the game, first place 1 card face up and 6 cards face down to the right. Repeat until every column has a face-up card at the bottom. ur welcome
