WITHIN THE RUINS is without a shadow of a doubt in my heavy extreme METAL music heart & chest an extremely crushingly dam good METAL band!!!!! I've seen them live 3 x's and they TRULY crush it every friggin' time they hit tgat stage!!!!! Their entire discography is awesomely heavy
They are all amazing, but just the way 3 starts out, especially if you listen to that album, how it follows up after sentinel is just fuckin' perfect \m/

I love these songs ,and the song:Enigma , but the songs that have vocals {by this band}, I haven't been getting into. Maybe the screams and lyrics will grow on me ,just as other bands in the past have.

+carlos garza that's because deathcore vocals are very one dimensional. I think they would do well to have somebody like Bjorn of Soilwork to have the vocals have a bit more nuance and power. The deathcore or whatever core it is is boring as watching paint dry.
I wish there was more instrumental piece like these. This is so good, I could listen to this forever. Those vocals on the other songs are awful ffs. My favorite was the second and third piece. Omg, so amazing.
Animals as leaders if you want pure instrumental. Don't mean to knock on these guysm they're great, but nothing beats Tosin Abasi. He's heavy metal guitar god.
Hanice Gutierrez If you're into not super duper fast, heavy riffs, try Chon. They're great! their music makes you think of sunshine and happiness. Also in place of relentless kicks, they have smooth, buttery, sweep arpeggios. You'll hear a bunch of sweeps, probably the only band that harmonizes sweeps too.
I Personally love death metal instrumentals but can't stand the Cookie Monster screams where I can't understand anything they say. That is why I love these 3 songs
***** Nope, it's because to me it's mostly gibberish, I actually like to listen to lyrics and what they are saying. That's why my favorite band is Disturbed and my favorite song right now is Sweet Mountain River by monster truck, because I can actually hear the lyrics. I mean I can take some Cookie monster screams throughout a song, but I can't listen to it for a whole song.

Theres other reasons to say its better, and its all opinion (mine is 2>3>1) but i just feel most of you like that its fast amd follows basic progressions and "i saw that coming" structures
That's usually the learning curve of all metal. Sometimes it only requires instrumental composition. I will agree with that, but the vocalist is amazing in my opinion.
After listening to a few of their tracks, I've decided that these people hate their bassist and rhythm guitarist. Their buried in the mix so bad I can hardly hear them. Pretty insulting to your bandmates!
