Thank you for speaking at a normal speed and including pauses. It's lovely on the ears and I can actually focus on the content (which is always top notch).
When I think that 90% of buttons in 1999 on the web were gray starting with the landing page of Google itself. The meaning of the colors also depends on the era. It is also valid in the IT sector. Also, you have to ask yourself the reason for choosing a color beyond its meaning sometimes. The famous "why?". For example, the Paris rugby team plays with a pink jersey. The club president needed people to talk about the club. Rudby is a popular sport in the south of France. Paris is in the north. It's a big city with many sports clubs (hello PSG fan). The club was unknown to the general public despite these good results. So they said: let's go to the pink ! Since then, all french people know the only rugby club with pink jerseys 😆 Color is a strategy.
Ran, interesting video, and channel...I'm having trouble getting the links to the free media. The "Color Psychology e-Book" took several completions of the download request form and the other two have not shown up at all, not even as spam. Any suggestions? Thanks
Funny how in the video you give a example of the grey button, and how it leads people to think it is sold out, yet in your website the buttons for getting the ebook is grey
Oh no i can already hear the UA-cam Censor algorithms why colors are misappropriation of em r ... Lol. I am happy your son is wise ( good Father ) and reminds me of the fable “ The Emperor Wears No Clothes’
This video has put me off, ngl. I've been a huge fan of your content before watching this video. The 'pink' website actually looked very professional. Pink might be perceived as feminine but that doesn't mean it's bad for 'professional' or 'tech-stuff' (which you associate with being anti women it seems ?) Blue is extremely overused in this area and pink is a breath of fresh air. I'm trying really hard not to be too annoying but this is just making me feel bad.
I agree but if you watch the next slide it explains it a little. If I were to look at the pink template I would almost not look at it professionally, as apposed to the same layout and colour scheme for a healthcare website.

Your website is uber feminine pinkish-lila atm... "Milka" design, hehe..

Agreeing with everything else on the video, and still your point is valid for me.
That pink template was really cool. Maybe it's just me.

haha don't get triggered, the pink seems playful color, which contradicts the purpose of the site. And it clearly doesn't look professional there
For your information, you need permission to read people's minds ☹️.
But good job anyway 🙄.
