I'm not sure why but the wimbledon crowd in 2015 was just super rowdy in general, in both singles finals as well as this match. But it makes this title even more memorable in a way, really glad she won this one

The crowd in the Watson match was horrendous. It's fine to root for your young "hometown" player(even though they barely cheered for her in any other match she played at Wimbledon) but to boo Serena and scream "out" every time she hit a semi close ball was just pathetic. I'm glad they did it though, she wasn't going to let them have the last laugh.

2015 was one of her best years. I thought her 2010 WB final against Zvonereva was one of her best GS finals she played. Vera played well but Serena's 2010 WB final was one of her best. Everything was working that day for her, outstanding performance.
As history turns out, she had to beat players who collectively now have won 16 grand slams titles and who were gold, silver, and bronze medalist at the Olympics for this one title. In retrospect. This was a tough one.

Serena had to FIGHT this tourney. What used to irritate me was when players like Heather Watson wouldn't put up a fight against players like Sharapova or Azarenka but would fight Serena tooth and nail just because it was Serena. All players did that crap. Heather was playing junk tennis just to throw her game off, and it looked a fool. I didn't like her at all after that b/c why play junk tennis?

All her achievements will forever be undermined by her incredibly poor sportsmanship! Against Stosur, Clisters and Osaka at the US Open she spat the dummy each time she was losing. Her self entitled, rude and selfish behaviour towards her opponents will forever be a stain on her record. GOAT? No way! Graf and Court were better players and much more decent human beings. Serena is a disgrace. Venus on the other hand, is a lady and a great sport!
