Another freakin awesome MOC by you. I love the logical reasoning behind the progression of the connected hyperdrive ring, and, as always, the transformative feature reveal!
Oh man I love the design and theory behind it! The feature where the delta 2 connects to the hyperdrive is so cool! Well....did I say connect? I mean......swiffle.....swoop...since it was never actually disconnected of course, my goodness this is getting complicated.
Great question! The Jedi Starfighter review I just did is a good example of my build process. I'll try to build something on my own if I think I have a different/better take on it. But when I was looking at Jedi starfighters, the one from mr. Idler was better than I could think of myself. That's actually why I haven't built a razor crest from The Mandalorian yet. I don't have a good take on it. Usually when I look at other existing ships, someone has an amazing one that is better than what i was planning.
Thanks, sometimes i feel like there's nothing left in the tank, but something always comes along that makes me say "wait a minute...oh, that's an idea!" And voila, 2 years in, still making new mocs:)
That's such a great compliment! I've literally spent years studying star wars ships, designs, artists, concept drawings, and all the different media to learn how to do it, i'm glad it's showing through!
hey TJ! I just discovered your channel but I wanted to say that your Lego MOC videos are probably my favorite kind, I love seeing people with genuine talent come up with creative and new star wars ships that match the aesthetic perfectly. keep it up!
Maybe you should put the astromech directly behind the cockpit for it to have an easier way to get out like how r2 units enter Naboo starfighters. Great build though. Love the landing feature!
Good idea! I was trying to keep it offset like the delta 7 from episode 2, but he is pretty difficult to put in and out repeatedly. Probably need to resolve that eventually;)
Just a fun little idea, have you ever consider making a hyperdrive ring or detachable mechanism for a TIE fighter? It’s an obscure idea, but I would like to see what you could come up with
@@TJtheBrickwright like another star fighter with a different design to make it stand out just like the one you with this one and maybe with a female Jedi and her droid and you're own design of you're version of a republic cruiser !
Whenever I see black and gold on a Star Wars ship on TJ’s Lego room I can’t unsee the Batman tumbler speeder.
Just wait for the batplane:) then it will be black and silver too:)
@@TJtheBrickwright tienes un video de como hacer esa nave por que se ve incleible

Oh yeah, wouldn't be TJ's Lego Room without something surprising:)
@@TJtheBrickwright ikr !
This is AMAZING! My favorite part about your channel is how you always include a hidden mechanical feature in all your builds.
I certainly try! Either moving parts or modularity for everything!
The colour scheme looks awesome, especially on a jedi starfighter
Yeah the slide down mechanism is really cool
my eyes were blessed, it looks so beautiful

Thanks! It's always fun for me to come up with theories in design. Yeah...i like complicated:)
Why don't you build existing ships that haven't been built in Lego?
Your builds are amazing, keep building Lego like this

Super cool and interesting design, I really love your concepts.

Really nice build!!
Thanks! I worked hard on it, making changes right up to filming!
This is awesome man
Could we have instructions for the ring
I'll include it in the tutorial next week for sure!
Thanks
Really amazing! I like its arrowhead shape when the ship transforms.
I've built a black delta7 it kinda looks like that
I whould be awesome if you did more jedi starfighter builds.
It's a definite plan to do so!
I definitely like where this is going
So glad I found your channel. I really hope it gets more popular cause you deserve it
Thanks!

This is so amazing! Great job! Would be awesome if you could upload the part list on bricklink. I need this one! :D
I do have instructions and a parts list on rebrickable.com!
Nice!

Oooh... oh man.... that's freaking sweet! Wheels are turning!
Make a how to I love it
This is awsome
Cool!
Will there be instructions available for the whole thing?
Most likely, but right now i'm still learning the software. I'll have a tutorial up next weekend
TJ question I was wondering if you could do more high republic era Jedi star fighters and cruisers?
I have a couple ideas:) is there something specific you're looking for?
@@TJtheBrickwright like another star fighter with a different design to make it stand out just like the one you with this one and maybe with a female Jedi and her droid and you're own design of you're version of a republic cruiser !
Love it! I'll do some exploring in those realms for sure, Great ideas!
Quick question, what are the printed parts on the droid from, is it the solo millennium falcon droid?
That is correct! Good eye! Just rearranged the parts to make a shorter version:)
This is so cool can you do a LEGO x wing mod Because you make everything super simple and easy to find
Sounds like fun:)
Cool
I made a yellow one for anakins starfighter. I posted it on reddit lego starwars. u/emkayiswhyimhere
