I love loud music. Totally into PA gear and lots of power. Although, after playing in bands for many years and listening to loud music I make sure to always wear hearing protection. Just kills me to see people essentially disabling something they will miss or not get the enjoyment of later down the road

U really dont know what ur talking about do you? Bass, wont destroy your Ears, most People will probably have better Ears than you and did Car Audio for Years.
U would need to listen to 170+ for a couple Minutes to actually loose Hearing. I know people that do 164dB+ in their Jeep, and the only Problem they have about hearing is that their Midrange makes their Ears ring, but thats normal if you have 164dB in your Car, you have to hear the Music someway.

One or one pair for each range of hz to cover all desired. Ex, 3 or of 10's, one is ported, one is med sealed and one is lg sealed. You directed it's power in specific hz such as a stick shift in your car can have high torque when in first gear or max speed in od. Each gear covers a small bandwidth of power. Imagine if you only had 4th gear. Would take an hour to get to 50mph if didn't drop the trans first

I'm not from the US, I'm from Trinidad, and down here we don't much go for SPL, some do but it's not the norm, vast majority of the builds locally for for SQ. I've been watching a lot of your videos and one thing I've always noticed, 4 18's on 20k with like 2 6" on mids and highs, Americans don't seem to much care about loud so much as pressure, at least that's what it seems like through these videos. We do have big walls and the like, but they're always paired with a mids and high system that looks a lot more like a concert speaker setup mounted on top of the vehicle, they're extremely loud, even from a few hundred feet away, but they all sound extremely clean. Beach days locally almost always devolve into a sound off because there will be multiple cars with extremely loud systems that all want to play different music, generally they take turns being the beach DJ and then another will play the next song and so forth, but sometimes it does devolve into a competition of who is louder.
That's a long winded way to answer your question, I haven't personally been inside an SPL focused vehicle, but I have experienced a wall of 8 DD9915's at the window, I'm not ashamed to say I wussed out lol The loudest musical vehicle I've ever experienced, well that's Predator, I could only find super old videos for some reason, but here's a video (Not my video) from a show I attended back in the day, these two vehicles were "rivals" and would often compete against each other, and they drew a HUGE crowd ua-cam.com/video/LGAQP10XJpU/v-deo.html Predator on the left, Ghost Rider on the right, watch the green flag behind. I forget the specs on Ghost Rider, but Predator I remember having 10 15" Treo SSX's, no idea how much power tho

I been a bass head since 1985. My first car i got in 86, paid $2800 bucks for an 1986 ford EXP Hatchback, and i had well over $6000 in Rockford and Alpine components. I installed car stereos for some bigger shops here in NC for around 17 years, then i just done it on my own, still do and im now 46 years old. The absolute loudest thing i ever heard was Alma Gates Bronco. I seen it break record after record. I used to compete with a 92 honda civic hatchback with 8 12 inch orion XTR's and 2 Orion HCCA 2100 amps. Every time that bronco would show up, we knew we were in for another record. Alma herself and her whole team were so nice. They would answer any questions and let you see anything once they had competed. Im wanting to say the last time i saw that bronco it broke 170 DB, i remember it well because 170 took a long ass time to break!!! I get that now all you guys want these systems that play low as hell but i dont understand why no one is going for High SPL anymore? You cant get big numbers when your playing 28 hertz. Anyways, i love all of your videos bro and i wish i knew where you lived because im in NC and would love to chill and give you a hand!!!

I love the seismic lows and that is what I build boxes for but for real impact on music you need both midbass and lows to get loud loud, there's just no substitute. I'm on my 4th front stage, each one building for harder midbass. I thought it was sounding great but then I rebuilt the sub stage- now I'm eyeing bigger midbass drivers.

Hey EXO, love your content & commentary. Please keep giving us some of both types of systems, because a lot of what works for one can be applied to the other and they're both relevant. Plus I don't want to exclude anyone's craftsmanship because it's not musical enough or not loud enough. I want and love it all! Hey keep the faith and keep fighting the good fight for health. I have UC and know the struggles you face. Hobbies, like car audio, are such a valuable distraction when things aren't going so well and help keep us ftom dwelling on negative poor me thoughts. Keep bringing the bass, we love ya Bro!

Lows plus beauty. He didn't opt out for regular ol wood,he went with something with strength and an amazing wood grain to it.having his entire interior smooth as glass helps reflect the soutdoor waves, that having all that wood vs metal to help keep sound rich n crisp

Yeah I’m old-school bass head 50 years old been doing it for a long time yeah the sound quality I’d like to see something real loud and clean. Play a little bit everything see what It can really do. something is real loud you know the mid base in the door is a little rattling buzz and they just sounds like crap but the way you guys been Sound deadening specially you EXO the van is crazy with the steel cage box and all the great foam that thing is crazy. Good work. Yeah New pair of cans would be great. My Sennheiser‘s kicked the bucket
