I did buy this from Amazon last night on impulse knowing I can return it (but it's the same price at Target, Walmart, Bed Bath and Beyond - no coupon can be used tho). For the hot end of the dryer you refer to, you can always wear a heat glove which are common with hot tool products. I also read somewhere it's best to have your hair semi dry and not fully wet before using this blow dryer/styler. I hope you are still using it almost a year later and finding it the best option for drying/styling your hair.

I still use it regularly! I normally try to air dry my hair, but when I’m blow drying it I nearly always use this. So much easier than using a brush + dryer!

@@MissSarahEK I just put the Revlon one and the Bed Head in my Target cart so I can compare. I wish I could cancel my Amazon order as it hasn't shipped yet. I decided to pass on the Hot Tools because it is almost identical the head looks almost identical to the Revlon one. I'm still reading reviews on Target for all three. The cords are all 6ft swivel BTW. I do wish weight in pounds would be posted on retail sites but I can't find that information. The Blow Dry Bar Brush dryer has a 12 ft. cord I believe. Anyway, your video was the best of the four I watched today. The only other tip I got from a reviewer who reviewed all three (Revlon, Hot Tools and Bed Head) was that they are all manufactured from the same company! So take your pick, ha.

Sarah-Good video...I’ve been wondering about these. I’m just concerned as my hair is very thick. I think your hair looks great!

Why does thick hair concern you, the length of time it will take.. Any tangling..?
I'm on the opposite scale, mine is fine/thin and prone to breakage.. I see thick hair being a plus with this tool tbh, on my hair I feel it can tug and pull a little (I don't want to lose any more(!)) where as I don't see that being so much of a problem with thick hair, but it depends on what concerns you about it I guess :)

Nic-Length of time because of bristles. Sometimes I can only get a little bit of my hair at a time with a shallow bristle brush.

Great review! Did you use the cool setting for the rest of your hair? I'm wondering if I can get those results without the heat.

Thanks! I used the low heat setting for the rest of my hair
