    Margarine never was as bad as you remember. Your mom probably kept it a long time, maybe uncovered, maybe next to half an onion. LOL

    Would be interesting to see a sourdough bread recipe. Good job on the quick breads. Coffee cake looks interesting as does the nuggets. Wonder how the nuggets would do with mini chocolate chips?

    70s recipes weren't supposed to taste like the ingredients in their name. It was all about adding "exotic ingredients" 😂😂😂😂

    Sourdough is not an American thing at all. It dates back to ancient Egypt thousands of years B.C.

      Yes sourdough was invented by the Egyptians. Bread is a staple in Egypt and is subsidised by the Egyptian government.
