      As a Chery Tiggo7 pro exec owner for about a month now. I feel like it's the car that keeps on giving. The features for me are endless and I make use of many of them on a daily. I often remotely start my car, wireless charging is great, the sunroof is one of my favourite features, and the voice control is enjoyable. Fuel consumption was a bit high, ranging between 11-12. I am now down to 9.2 and have done about 2500kms on it. It is a sexy ride, especially in sport mode. It is a car that I will enjoy for years to come. I initially wanted the haval jolion in black and had waited to buy it for 9months but after having had luke warm customer service at haval silverlakes, seeing the order list, and then seeing the tiggo 7 on the floor just before i put my name on the haval waiting list. I test drove the tiggo4 and then 7. The 7pro won me over...I think the only things that I may knock it for or find unnecessary is the boot sensor. If you hover too long near it, it automatically opens. The fuel consumption is also a bit high.
      Being a first time Chery owner, and SUV owner. I really feel like I made a great decision. No regrets.

    I had the priviledge of test driving this car. I was thoroughly impressed. The car feels luxurious inside, is a tech fest and very comfy. That 1.5 litre Turbo engine is good and they nailed the transmission.

      Thanks Clem for the valuable input. The Tiggo 4 Pro really gave me a different view on the CVT, it was the best CVT I ever came across. Looking at the claimed kerb weights (1335kg for 4 Pro and 1401kg for 7 Pro), I am not expecting it to be materialy different from Tiggo 4 Pro on performance.🤔
      Hope to test drive it soon.

    Test drove one today. The salesman allowed me to floor it on a quiet backroad in Eco and Sport modes. Even in Eco mode it pulled nicely. This thing goes for its size. Also tested cornering ability... forgive me but I have a hot hatch. Lots of body roll of course but I floored it a bit around a traffic circle, screaming wheels and all. It gripped beautifully. Obviously the average SUV owner doesn't drive like a hooligan but its nice to know it has performance ability when needed. Ride and build qualities are excellent. I took some times to inspect the finer details from back to front. If you considering getting one... Get it.

    • @sebuwam
      @sebuwam  2 роки тому +1

      Thanks a lot for the valuable information Brain, even reduced the pressure to get a test drive now now🤣. Otherwise, when coming from a Hatch you won't miss the body roll from an SUV, its always felt. I am glad that it can move, the engine and CVT are good in the Tiggo 4 Pro, I am a little worried about this in terms of Size but I will get to it soon. Thanks a lot once again🙏🏾🤜🏾

      @@sebuwam Inside they feel the same size weirdly. The 7's bonnet is more visible though but you won't feel that you driving a huge car. I drove the red one and that visible bonnet was stunning.
      The 7s CVT felt a lot smoother and there's definitely less turbo lag than on the 4. I'd get the 4 though if the bank didn't approve me for the 7. I also took the 7 on gravel which had water puddles and bumps. It handled that comfortably.

    Problem with these cars is that you can't change their headlights anymore. It's all LED. That's why i went for the basic trim of the geely coolray, so I have the freedom to switch among halogen, LED, & HID.

    • @sebuwam
      @sebuwam  Рік тому

      That's one thing we don't talk about when it comes to LEDs, when they have problems you can't do much without professional help mostly. I love their durability though, they last. I hear you though, seen cars driving with one eye for sometime due to the cost of replacing the lights being high!

    I see a lot more Chery autos on the road here in the Philippines. The 2 stage warranty is best in the country. A 5 year / 150,000 km Bumper to Bumper then #2 warranty on the drive train 10 year / 1 million Km's. Problem here is the Dealerships and the bad Reputation on Chinese Makes. If something happens in your first 2 years tge Dealerships come out and tell you that your problem is not covered under the warranties. Dealerships make minor fixes but only replace Items if totally fried. Even then they try and tell you that you need to pay. Why even have a Warranty? The Chinese Dealerships do not honor them.

    • @sebuwam
      @sebuwam  2 роки тому +2

      Damn, that is not a good way to attend to the most important part of the sale, which is "after sales."
      I am yet to hear similar complains here in SA. I hope they get their act together there because it can hurt them before they even go far here in SA. Consumers are really sensitive, first to price then before even complaining about fuel consumption, they want to know they will be taken care of if anything happens.

    The exterior doesn’t look particularly exciting in my opinion, the interior is nice though. But in terms of where this slots in by size , I’m not sure if it’s towards the CX-5 or CX-30/ T-Roc or Tiguan. I can’t tell by the price coz this is way cheaper than those cars, even the top of the range is cheaper than the base models of those vehicles.Good for them👏🏾

    • @sebuwam
      @sebuwam  2 роки тому +1

      Yep, it actually play in the same segment as the CX-5, CX-30/T-Roc are more lifestyle than practicality-focused if you think about it. Yes you can consider buying them and also include this but taking "loyalty" and brand preference aside, this can mop the floor with them just on value vs price. Unfortunately they look more appealing compared to this one, it really is safe and not bringing out that "wow" factor.
