All she was doing was giving Betty some needed advice because as rude as Cheryl can sometimes be when Betty seems like she needs help Cheryl helps so this isn’t about bughead or barchie it’s a sweet moment where Cheryl helps Betty sort out her feelings.

And with this kind of things dont listen to others or think about others but yourself. You saw how much pain she had when she rejected him. Also about that flashback she was scared that he will hurt her again like that and it would have made her feelings stronger for him thats why she stopped him. cheryl doesnt know they kissed/cheated thats why she is wrong about bughead made for each other. Like i said she knows nothing about them. Betty was listening with her brain not her heart. If she agreed/believed cheryl about what she said than she should have said to archie that she likes/loves jughead more because that will get closure for the both of them but she didnt.. Man I said this in season 1! Betty was more in love with the idea of Archie, and not actually Archie. It was like she had him placed in a little check off to do list.... start dating boy next door ☑️... then eventually marry boy next door ☑️.
Dating Jughead made her realize that she doesn’t have to live in some already mapped out, preplanned world that she had inside her head!

Wrong. The idea of Archie is the boy next door and what does Betty hate the most about herself is that she’s the girl next door meaning it would make no sense if she wanted to become the thing she does not want to become. Y’all love to talk about this and that. Betty legit said it was live at first sight love at first sight at 7 years old. Archie rejected Betty in the first season why? Because he thought she was too good for him and what has this whole show taught us about Betty? That she’s not perfect so that made Archie realize Betty and him can happen. Betty is in love with Jughead sure but Betty and Archie are the love of each others lives. I really do wonder what would happen to bughead after their are no mysteries to solve I mean their whole relationship is built off them solving mysteries. They have nothing in common besides snooping around and writing and sure that can carry a friendship but a relashionship? Betty and Archie have a lot in common in fact have the most in common out of the whole cast they make sense because we know that even without the craziness that is riverdale we know for a FACT that Betty and Archie can work because they did work. We can’t say that when the mysteries of riverdale are over that all of the relationships will work out except for bettys and archies because they have done in before.

Did this episode remind anyone else of that talk Caroline had with Elena on The Vampire Diares about how Elena didn't loved Damon, she was just sire bonded to him? It's the same thing here. Betty took Cheryl's word because she's confused and doesn't know what to do. She never denied she loves Archie, and she was the one that said he was in love with veronica the second time, not him. All they kept saying was " I don't want to hurt Jughead/Veronica". They basically agreed to stop seeing each other out of fear, but the feelings are there!

As a Barchie fan, I will say that Cheryl does have a major point. Though I don’t think simply brushing it aside will end up well for Betty or Archie and may result in a breakup with Jughead and Veronica.
Ryanator Raptor they said twice in the episode that both love Jughead and Veronica and they don’t want to hurt them.
Nightnugget of course they don’t want to hurt them. It goes without saying. But suppressing strong feelings for someone and going into denial will only make things worse down the line and the people will end up hurt anyway. I speak from experience.

Here is a person who for most of her life has been on the outside looking in when it came to any manifestation of love and because of that knew nothing about it except how to rip it apart. As such she has some odd level of perspective when it comes to sensing when some one is (*gags slightly*) endgame or not.

To end a powerful couple like that for the sake of having the most Barbie and Ken ship I’ve ever seen be a thing is just bad writing. I would hope the writers would have at least SOME sense. Bughead is a large majority of their viewers. If Bughead goes then, this whole show will probably right behind it.

Debates are perfectly healthy and can be a good hobby, some people take it to far but overall your bashing people who enjoy, like myself, theorizing and debating on a TV show. And frankly I think your being immature by thinking or at least phrasing it as if all debate is pointless and shows the “ugliness in humanity” the point is, people do come together for bad situations but is not agreeing on a fucking ship is not gonna mean we can agree on anything. This trope has been done in many shows where someone else claims to know another’s feelings you can’t force anyone to be an “endgame” being and “endgame” is their choice and they shouldn’t be told on what to choose.
