What is the purpose of putting the wigs in the oven?
It is to draw out moisture and makes sure the curl or any wave pattern is full set before the final styling!
It’s called an oven, it’s not a cooking oven, it’s basically a special box with a heater with a fan big enough to fit 6 to 12 wet set wigs, and are put to dry. This was my world in Toronto 🇨🇦 for over 30 years as head of Department, it was a great experience. I now work in Film and sort after for my skills I acquired.
