I can still remember the death of my two sons the cops coming to my door to let me know that I would never be able to hug them again never talk to them never be able to say I love son they were gone forever there are days I want to talk to them hug them it's hard but you know you have to get up you just can't stay in bed and cry all day but some days I do

Sweetheart Shania, I get it on your singing 🎶 voice what can happen, because when I lost my brother and Dad in a short time apart, I could not sing, I could not do anything, it took me a while to recover to some degree. I had to push myself to go walking 🚶 at the beach and being connected to nature helped me to some degree to get through this. I am singing again and now writing lyrics in collaboration. I have struggled many times with self confidence too, re singing, and some days I just want to let music go and what is the point. You are amazing don't ever forget that.
A traumatic childhood of poverty abuse and the sudden death of her parents, responsibility for younger siblings, pushing it all down underneath huge fame, an ultimate betrayal. It makes sense that she lost her voice, and it's kind of beautiful the way she's doing this show about it.

Her self-esteem has been shattered! A husband that was supposed to love her until death do them part just threw her away like she was garbage! I know how I felt when it was done to me 19 years I was with my ex-husband. It’s a big self-esteem blow you no longer feel that you’re even worth a dime or even a penny to anybody anymore! You feel ugly you feel alone and that’s probably what poor Shania is feeling she will get her groove back and when she does I hope that mutt chokes on it!!Shania is beautiful inside and out🙏🏻♥️
So hard to see her defend her ex husband over and over again. He willingly went with another woman, who he ended up with. So his intent was obvious. I feel terrible that she was in that stage of denial but I'm glad shes taking steps. I hope she opens her heart to her current husband. She seems cold toward him because of the level of emotions she was dealing with.

She may never let go of coming across cold. Her innocence when it comes to love was pulled out from under her with betrayal. You learn from these kind of moments and you’re never the same.
It really is hard to watch these old videos and hear her focus so much blame on Marie-Anne. She seems obsessed with directing it at her, when as the Dr. said, her husband didn't just slip & fall into bed with this woman over and over. Like she doesn't want to admit he chose this woman over her. I hope she's evolved from this place by now.

This a very powerful conversation. You've been blaming the friend all along it was her fault but honestly.... he slipped into bed with her. 100% put the responsibility back. He could have said NO.. ends right there. He made the choice to be with her.. and doing that hurt you.

What I don't get is Why Shania is not putting blame where blame belongs. Her husband was an is a cheater n will always be a cheater. Also he's a liar. Her husband betrayed Shania. N the best friend betrayed her. She was doubly betrayed. He also isolated her in Switzerland. I hope she really realizes how bad Mutt was .

cont'd from post below...suffer & die. I drowned in grief & anger for many years. By the grace of God, I have finally begun to live life & grow in my faith & in every other area of life ever since. Losing a child is by far the most unbearable, unimaginable pain there is, and blaming God was all part of the process. In time, I hope that Shania sees that experience as part of the process, too. Those are the steps that bring the greatest depth & understanding to life, loss, & love!
I fell in love with a married man . We were friends and had mutual feelings. The temptation was great for an affair, he felt like the perfect partner for me. But, I had been betrayed by my ex husband and the memory of that pain, of his affair, made me resist this temptation. I continued to have love for this man but had to end the relationship. Had to end the friendship. It has been hard to move past but after years it has gotten easier. He felt like a soul mate but he was married. He was not available. I had to move on in my life without him. I could not become like the woman who had destroyed my marriage. I had to accept the loss. All of this was hard as the temptation was great and there was mutual love. But, I had to be the better person. . I suffered so much pain, so much pain. To this day, my ex and the other woman have never applogized. People are cruel. Bridges of Madison County is my favorite movie. Sometimes we meet a great love that we have to say goodbye to because we do not want to inflict pain on another. Life and love is not easy.
In light of all , the words 'Its your canvass to work with' so pleasantly spoken surely provided air, lifting heart a little from despair, hid by charm loves action of care. Thank you for posting.

I don't understand why she doesn't blame her husband's infidelity.
She probably does, privately, but it isn´t good PR to appear as the angry ex-wife unable to move on. Nor is it good for her son, especially if the man was a good father, albeit a lousy husband. Remaining publicly antagonistic toward an ex husband who you still have to co-parent with can backfire, thus making children suffer. Also, as women, we have been taught to expect betrayal from the men in our lives. I mean, it happens so often, it´s old news. But when your best friend betrays you, the pain is just as swift and deep because you´re not expecting it. A shaman once told me the partner/spouse is statistically the most likely person to betray you, which is why it is never a good idea to put them first in your orbit to the exclusion of everyone else.
This is pure evil. This Jezebel-influenced woman who cheated only suffers from evil avarice. That woman who cheated on her husband, even with another married man, and even with her best friend’s husband, does not deserve sympathy for her actions. Her actions were evil because her motivations were evil. Rather than fix her own marriage she would destroy someone else’s. She is trying to get sympathy by gaslighting. Look at the look she gives Shania when she says, “and you never will (understand what it’s like to need grounding).”
And, Excuse me? She is also jealous of Shania’s kindness and trust and *drumroll* her strength. She knows darn well that Shania didn’t just get where she did because of ML, but firstly because of the love she had for her siblings. She worked hard to get success, and didn’t take it for granted when she got it. Her Achilles’ heel was that fear of not deserving it and losing that success. No one is meant to spin so many plates at once. We aren’t built for that. ML and ST don’t seem to have had the same core values that he let her work too hard and not be first a wife and mother.

How can you ever feel good about being betrayed..especially by your best friend. God can forgive these people. It's okay to feel anger and rage. Anger helps you to right a wrong. Would someone tell you to forgive Hitler? I don't think so. Place the forgiveness on God. Be your genuine self. You never need to accept being cheated on. It is unfair. Period.

I was wondering that too!! Why is she ONLY upset with the friend?! That doesn’t make any sense!! This seems to be a common occurrence, the wife often times is MORE upset with the other woman than the husband.. I really don’t understand that. It seems like the husband should be more to blame because HE’S the one that’s married.. ultimately it’s his responsibility at the end of the day.. 🤷🏼♀️
