I live in Florida. My whole condo us Key West tropical. Palm plants in my patio. My place is popping color everywhere. So, I have a antique real rod iron bed. Light brushed pink. I want to do this on just the wall behind my bed. My friends say, are you crazy. You can't paint wall black. I said, and just why not ! I'm brave enough to do it. Then I thought I'll paint the wall eggplant. They said doesn't matter it will look black. I'm doing it. I will be calling you as I like to actually speak to someone before doing such a fabulous brazen project as this.
Do it! It's only paint and you can always paint over it. But you won't want to :)

@@scottreash9945 Hi Scott! It's all preference. You can add dark palm fronds leaves and give the room a bold look, or stencil a mix of lighter colors and brighten the room up :) We recommend picking a reference picture online that you really like, and go from there!

After you switch to the light colour, don't you wash the stencil to remove the dark colour so that the foam does not get the earlier dark tones while painting?

If the dark paint is dry, you can use a light color and the black wont come off. Just make sure it's dry!
