RAPT Pill - Wireless Charging Kit

The RAPT Pill from Kegland is a great digital floating hydrometer. You can make it so much better by installing a QI Wireless charger. Now you will never need to open it up to charge it, and then be forced to re-calibrate it.

The kegland instructions are an absolute joke. I followed yoir video which was much easier to follow. I fear i may have damaged the wiring on the first attempt. Not too happy with kegland. Do you need to charge it first or can you install this into a brand new rapt out of the box?

Yes, sadly Kegland's guides aren't the best. Hopefully you didn't cause too much damage.
I would recommend charging the Pill to 100% before use. Once charged, leave it for a few hours to cool down as sometimes they can heat up and this can cause miss-reading while using it. Once it is at room temperature, I would calibrate it in some water that is around 20C. Once calibrated, then yes, use it. In theory you won't need to calibrate it ever again (unless you have to open it up).
