No idea why the art got such a backlash. I think some people were looking for a hot take and others just jumped on the bandwagon. Haven't played it yet but it looks cool as hell. Anyways still think you need to do some Indiana Jones Fate of Atlantis ambiance here too. Thanks for the nostalgia.
I think its because many, many people built up a lot of over hyped expectations on how perfect a game from a beloved franchise must turn out when its finally coming back. They forget that the game devs are humans too and that their work might not live up to what people made up in their heads in 30 years.
