Next beach trip I'm going old school. Got a couple chairs from Lawnchairusa. Aluminum, traditional webbing, light weight and made in Georgia. They might blow over easy in the wind though. We'll see.
We've got one of those Solbello Shades to try out too.

Cool! Those aluminum webbed lawn chairs bring back memories. They're light yet tough. I've got a Solbello Shade too. I really like it. Worked well in 20+ mph winds and self-adjusts when the wind changes direction. Hope you get to use your new beach gear soon!

Thanks! I checked it out. It looks okay for lying down and using the wedge as a headrest, but I'm not sure it would be comfortable resting on it in a semi-upright position because there won't be any head support. I'll add it to my list. :)
You should definitely review the parkit beach chair. Looks pretty gnarly.

I was on my phone before and couldn't see everything. Now on computer. The pillow only has a few reviews but they are all 5 star. Sells for $35. The bundle is half price today on GMA deals and Steals so I'm trying to make up my mind. Not sure I cn handle not having armrests
I paid $35 for the head pillow. I think it’s a little weird not having armrests but other folks think nothing of it.

Just found your channel. I have no real history of beach going, but I have some new friends that go all the time. Where should I start for a purchase as a newbie. Also, I am a heavy guy. Welcome aboard! Glad you found the channel! A good start for a beach newbie would be buying a good beach shade and beach chair. I've got a few videos on beach shades you can check out to see which one would be right for you. Most XL portable outdoor chairs are made for camping, but I found one on AMAZON that may be good for the beach. It's called the TIMBER RIDGE Oversized Director Chair. It has a 600 lbs weight capacity and costs $140. I haven't tested it myself but it has received some decent reviews. The biggest con is that it weighs 22 pounds, which is more than double the weight of most beach chairs. I hope this helps point you in the right direction. Let me know if you have any questions.

Can you recommend a chair that sits a little higher off the ground. It looks like all of the ones in the video are fairly low to the ground. Thanks
Rio Beach makes a solid 17'' high beach chair sold on AMAZON for $120. It's simple but it does its job. Tommy Bahama also has a new highboy beach chair ($125) with a shade. I have a beach friend who loves it, but it's heavy.

Can the drink holder fit on the tommy Bahama chair?
The drink holder will only fit on the Sunflow beach chair.
Here in the netherlands, everyone just puts a towel on the sand. I guess we're behind on modern times. Or the dutch people are just cheap haha. The chairs look great though!

Head cushions are certainly nice when you want to recline back and chill.
