I was lucky enough to be a fan and purchased her music as it was being released. Such a loss that she didn't have the amount of time that WE wanted her to have. Here's hoping that she's playing with all the jazz greats up in heaven.
ce morceau plus encore que les autres me bouleverse. Curieusement Je pense souvent à Michel Petrucciani lorsque je l'écoute. question de sensibilité extrême?
Emily, I just found you on youtube. I'm so sorry you felt you had to go so soon, your music, your style, your abilities are so awesome!! I look forward to playing with you in the future. I'm hoping to have 20+ more years here but ya never know. I hope to bring my custom Fretless P bass with me, can I bring my cerwin vega bottom and 400 watt Peavey head? Is there electric in heaven?
Always tasty and accessible, Emily is sorely missed by anyone who had the pleasure of hearing her works. Pity she s not given more of the credit and attention she so obviously merited, then, or even today. Hopefully more of her out of print catalogue is released again.
I've watched many other guitarists on youtube covering this track and most of them are good but none of them capture Emily's sense of rhythm. She was a one off.
You're Wrong Monty tried to beat her up like he did me and Sandy and Bet She broke both his thumbs 👍 He tried to kill her He was an opportunist! It affected her in the worst way No drugs Your information is wrong
That's lame as hell. You must be one lousy as hell heartless bastard. If you play like you talk I pity you. Jealousy never looks good on anyone & to be heartless you show your colors well.
Merci pour avoir combler mes oreilles de ces si belles notes, un grand Merci 👍👍👍👍
Such an amazing tune. Never tired of listening to it!
That was simply beautiful. Beautiful chords, rich voicings, nice playing.

She thought here way through music and had the talent and the technical ability to express it beautifully.
thanks emily, thanks music, thanks guitar.
superbe guitarist
The best ever lady guitarist. And better than most men.
Look up Mary Osborne. It is sad with Ms Remler cause she was so on the verge of really breaking through, as much as jazz musicians can
Simply fantastic, and felt.
This girl was an angel, a pure and talented musician. Unfortunately, the Lord wanted her back so soon
Such a powerful sense of time.
Butters brought me here
