I have performed many silent movies on this organ over the years. The combination of the hall and the instrument itself create a sound that has never been surpassed in my experience. I'm looking forward to trying it with all the new improvements that my good friend, and first class organbuilder, Mr. Knight has made!
I so enjoy learning the background of this organ. Mr Knight bubbles over sharing his passion and knowledge of this complex musical instrument. I am looking forward to hearing the music in the next few months, after all the TLC the craftsmen and workers have put into fluffing up and polishing the sounds produced by this old beauty. I wonder if Mr Knight remembers the old Organ Powered Pizza restaurant in Pacific Beach, in the 60’s. I used to go there with my parents. My recollection of the history is quite dim now. It was fun at the time .
