When l tried this I found that using round acrylic beads about half the size of the marbles. It felt less "floppy" to me and still rotates nicely. Feels less likely to fall over. Just a thought.
I wish I had seen this video sooner! My daughter had a birthday on the 18th and I spent $40 on a rotating make-up organizer! Although I do think I might make one of these for myself! 💜🙂

I want to make this for my daughter for mothers day. And put some extras into it like hair ties and some cotton balls ect what a great gift :) I love it thanks so much for the video :)
I love it 💕 only thing I would have added for cuteness would have been pretty pebbles in the bowl that is initially holding up the tier...although makeup covers some of it, I’d like some pretty pebbles in it
This is an awesome project! How you came up with this is creativity to the highest limit! I don't know how you were able to find all these different products at the DT. What I liked best about the video is you had all the the steps planned out. You knew exactly what you were doing, no false starts or backtracking. The only difficulty I see is trying to find all the individual pieces. I guess I could start collecting and eventually down the road I could try to make it .I also considered making some sort of tiered tray for essential oils. Possibly the diffuser on the tray along with the oils??
Compared with a few that are similar but nowhere near as much storage on top, and w/out the 2 extras you include with amazon pricing; Definitely much more affordable and much much more room in your DIY! GREAT job!

If you don't have rubber bands that big...you can put a couple of dots from a hot glue gun along with your E6000 glue. The hot glue will adhere now while the E6000 dries. Thank you for this tutorial. THE DOLLAR TREE HERE IN MY AREA ARE SOLD OUT OF ALL THE ACRYLIC DRAWER CONTAINERS SO I WILL HAVE TO USE GLASS AND I AM OKAY WITH THAT. THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR GREAT IDEAS, I WILL DEFINITELY USE THEM.
I like the idea of marbles helping it spin... But if you have a smooth counter (which you most likely do..) a metal bowl would spin pretty well without any help- just one bowl at the bottom. I don’t know if dollar tree sells BBs for BB guns but those would work and they are all exactly the same size whereas marbles can be slightly different sizes. This would keep it more level Another option just get a taller bowl for the bottom bowl l, and a slightly more shallow bowl for the top bowl ... That way when you add the base plate it would almost ride on the lip of the bottom bowl (Basically if the inner bowl comes up to almost exactly the same height as the bottom bowl when it’s inside you could put the base on top of it --the top would keep it from wobbling) .....

I added glass gems to the inside of the dog bowl for bottom weight. Love this

I use BBs, they are tiny like ball bearings & super cheap.
