Should spouse needs to quit his/her job in india to come to NZ for dependant work Visa (if working from home already)
Depends on your company’s policy. You should inform them and consult if you are legally bound to work from India or not.

For me it took 40 days- it generally depends case to case basis.

How did you get the work visa ?
Because Manish’s is doing Master’s which is level 9. For level 9, spouse gets work visa.
