    This is really interesting! Have you done any experiments making a more refined paper? I'm curious what the final product would look like if you ground or shredding the cellulose and used the pulp like you would in the conventional paper making process. It seems like the paper in the video is a little stiff. I wonder if shredding and recomposing it would make it more flexible.

    Hello, where can I find the pure acetobacter ?I don't want to use the kombusha kits because the presence of fungi etc.

    Hello, thank you for your video. It's good! And I have one question for it. How do you make it transparent?

    • @jeanpaulchristian3282
      @jeanpaulchristian3282 3 роки тому +2

      It is already transparent as cellulose is transparent- if you brush it with a layer of wet epoxy resin it will turn fully translucent/transparent with high transmittance. structural wood is made up of lignified rectangular cells and xylems that when a ring is cut in the radial dimension allows light to pass through easily. cellulose in its skeletal form is highly porous but this bacterial cellulose should also be quite porous, in any case it can be debonded using an intermediary treatment and filled with epoxy to produce transparent wood that can even be used for thermally locked windows.

    Acetobacter xylinum is used so what is the OD value or CFU value to produce these cellulose layers can you answer please mam

    Very nice. I'm trying to wonder though what the applications would be, since cellulose is all around us and many obvious applications are already being done.

    At what temperature and for how long did you dried the cellulose?

    Hey Anna,
    Are all nanocellulose equal ?
    Do the bacterial nanocellulose have the same mechanical properties as plant based one ?
    Coming from a curious guy who has recently learned the existence of nanocellulose and ever since fascinating by it.
    Thank you in advance.

      Dear its mechanical properties are more higher than plant cellulose. I am working on bacterial cellulose, if you have any queries feel free to ask.

    It’s too expensive to compete with wood and the whole process to make paper, we normally use this bacteria to make food
