4:30 but computer actually says Ra4 is better. why do we favour exf5+ then? or it's not really about the move in the position but the move as part of the plan of creating another weakness?
Hey Stjepan, this is unrelated to the video but I love the new merch. Especially the King's Gambit t-shirt. I hope you release more, I might consider getting some soon, I really appreciate your channel!
0:50 WRONG! i plan in the endgame just as much as in the middlegame: NOTHING. trolololol. now looks like i'll be the 1st chess player in history to plan something in the endgame but not plan anything in the middlegame lol
Sir in second example as per my calculation kg3 is slightly better than B f1 it then we can push f4 f5 he will have two options with bishop or stop a6 pawn queen or let the king infiltrate my engine is giving the same idea
are you using a green screen or did you change your recording workplace? great video either way, in the endgame i mostly just find my self shuffling pieces until my opponent blunders, works wonders in the lichess sub-2000 lobby, but i get crushed by any half-decent player !
14:30 nice job levon aronian for winning an opposite coloured bishop endgame by coming up with the right plan! according to josh waitzkin they are drawish iirc. then again levon aronian was up a pawn already sooo...
I think what you said, in the beginning, is wrong. It is in the end game you make a mistake you lose. You have less chance to correct your mistake because the material is less.
The changing of your background is awesome, stjepan.
It's like he's trapped in a hellish Escheresque nightmare!
This is a wonderful video that has really made me rethink my endgames, thank you
The aesthetics of you videos just keep getting better!
Thanks!

Truly an EXCELLENT training video.
Well done. 👍
I agree with you about Rubinstein. He's a very under appreciated player.
Awesome way stephen bro
Your videos are gold. Cheers from your (almost) neighbour Romania!
love this channel, thanks for the instructive content!

Thanks:D I am working on a few more designs. Glad you like them!

I'm at a different place:)
7:40 I don’t think you want to play Re4 here
Yes I think he misspoke. If black doesn't respond, a3>a4>trade pawns and c pawn is pinned to the rook and falls.

Why not a3 and B4 ? Wouldn't this also work?
Nice
Love from India..
(Hope if i can play you and get your analysis on it)

What about how to study efficiently a chess book?
When IM calls himself as a weak player like him,
_MY MIND_ : *Am I a joke to you?* 🤔🤯🧠
Who's an IM
@@adeshkantha7034
stjepan (this channel owner, presenter)
→ International Master
→ Around 2000 FIDE rated
→ Road to GM
Stjepan isn't an IM
@@pranaynatvarlal I just thought he might be a IM ....
Okay... No issues... However, around 2000 rating player calls himself as weaker players(!) 🙃
@@vrebds2484 an IM is 2400 FIDE w/ 3 2550 performance norms. Stjepan is 1900 FIDE, although someday he may make it!
12:11 - OK, we won't discuss all the moves, but I could never see Kh4 in this position... Any help please?
How old were you when you started to play chess? Much love
He's going to get married and I remember him say that he started playing chess 5 years ago. So I think you can guess.
I was 26

Studying endgames is a quest to find truth in chess; a student can prove definitively a game's outcome.
You could play f3 in the first position and cement your control on centre
F3 g3
hi bro can you make vedio for semi slave defence foor blackside...its my kind request
I made a whole series.
@@HangingPawns bro for black side??
