I will just be honest and say it... I cried almost the entire video. Seeing Jenny and Forest so jumpy and nervous. Then little Nina and sweet Ranger not go on the porch.. well, I feel as sad and unsettled without Chris and Lucy as they seem to be. Lord have mercy, crying over a deer. Then no Jenny, Forest, Nina or Ranger at the end of the video. Add in no Lucy and Chris, my goodness, my heart hurts!!! I LOVE YOU JIMMY HOUSTON !!! Thank you for posting this and ALL of your videos. It will be okay. Gods got this.... He's going to take care of everything. Absolutely keep praying He loves to hear us talking to Him. He is amazing. He will take care of the deer. There is a reason for everything. I cry too when I don't see all of them.
We can keep them in our hearts and never forget the angels they were. I know there are animals in heaven and will see them again.

It’s almost surreal without Lucy out there. But it’s so beautiful with the wind blowing and the sun shining. Honestly I could watch the wildlife for hours. Just walking around and out to the dock dropping a hook. Talk about stress free and the good life and Mrs. Chris will be back to enjoy it soon with you.

What a joy to watch this video thank you Mr. Jimmy for sharing. I too am brokenhearted over a 4 legged baby right now. I had been letting my house cat Mama Kat out lately just to give her some outside time. I let her out when I got home from work yesterday and she ran into the nearby woods and has not returned.😔 I have had Mama Kat for over 2 years since she was 6 weeks old. She has never slept outside or been outside for long extended periods. I am really concerned that a coyote may have gotten her. It is cold and raining and my heart breaks at this moment not knowing where she is or what may have happened to her. All we can do with God's precious creatures He blesses our lives with is to try and take care of them the best we can but they do become a very large part of our hearts.....thanks again for sharing such a beautiful video. Prayers continue for Miss Chris and her complete recovery and that she is back home very soon.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤

He calls me Mom bc my name is Major Old Lady, aka Mom (to all). I tease him in love, and he gets it. He knows that I love him like no tomorrow...
I also have a momma's heart, and admonish him to eat healthfully... Wish I could be there to pack his lunch b4 he goes off to visit Chris or before heading out to fish, go on the road to a speaking engagement, etc.

I worry the deer aren't going to be as tame and hang out as much with Chris not there and you gone so much now. Just keep feeding Lucy's herd on the porch as often as you can to keep that up. Chris is going to want to see them deer every day when she gets home and we all know she's coming home.

I agree with Betty Webster's comment, with Chris not being there, Lucy being gone and you gone for long periods of time, they just aren't quite sure what and how to do. And I think they can sense your sadness although you try so hard to not show the pain. We love you all. And you did a wonderful job on Lucy's Herd video. You could refer to the 4 as 2 X 2 (for Twins and 2 of Triplets), just a thought. :)

I lost my Momma. I was really thin but Chris & Jimmy took me in. They bottle fed me and saved my life. They showed me love and that was really nice. My life was short but was really blessed. Love Lucy.

The babies are still young enough that they would not yet have been pushed out on to their own by Lucy. She would have let the bucks stay around a little longer. As for Jenny, she is definitely stepping into Lucy's role. She looked mighty pretty laying their on the porch with her breakfast.. LOL. I would have expected Nina to have been more willing to come on the porch but I think Ranger is destined to be one of the "Big Boys". I do miss Lucy, Milburn and even little Indy, however, God has a perfect plan even when we don't understand it, so I am thankful for the sweet memories of them that you and Chris have shared with us. I feel more than confident that Mrs. Chris will be back home in the near future as her full recovery continues to manifest and she will probably have them all eating out of her hand. Love you guys and hope you have a wonderfully blessed weekend.
