@@jimfindlay3712 I was referring to conversion as in the County tractors they converted to use with the trysil trailer. Do you have any literature on the trysil trailer or Chieftain Forge forwarders?
The county tractors were delivered from County in Fleet Hants as a cabless unit. Then an subframe was added to mount the Q cab with 4 anti vibe mounts for comfort. There’s a pic of this at ..... tractors.fandom.com/wiki/County_Commercial_Cars ....about 2/3 way down the page. All were rear door entry and only one was ever fitted with a rear winch
The trysil axle set-up was genius as the front wheels of the trailer were dragging axles and therefore were more easily pulled over obstacles
The chieftain version(built under license) had a double bolster wood support - not the single shown here
Looking for any literature on Chieftain Forge forestry conversions if anyone has anything
It wasn’t a conversion... the trailer chassis that a dual 150 square hallow section with a sliding 4 wheel bogey

I don’t remember there being literature for either ... as the draughtsman on both I mostly remember right ups in trade magazines of the time
Going back to your comment, the county tractor was a stand alone item as was the trailer.... both were sold individually, occasionally together
