Guys, let's not forget that the Bad Company and Main Battlefield series have different design initiatives... the destruction in Bad Company was more over-the-top because Bad Company, in and of itself, is supposed to be more over-the-top (the characters, the plot, some weapon mechanics, etc). Like, if the main series is Steven Spielberg, Bad Company is Michael Bay, right? Which means EVERYTHING MUST EXPLODE.
Need For Speed The Run, Rivals, and NFS 2015 uses Frostbite engine. You know that this engine is so damn powerful that NFS team uses them 3 times.. :O Even the latest Mirror's Edge game uses this engine.

In my opinion, frostbite 3 has the most real life like graphics, and there are two main reasons for that: motion blur and bloom. the motion blur is probably the best i have seen in games that reach for realism...dice really dug into making it blur surounding motion in a life like way, compared to other games that simply blur it in a cinematic like way. talking about the bloom, this is the first game (including bf3) i have seen yet that has life like bloom. which means that its bloom is not based on a constant radius, it is equal to Intensity= Distance, which means it will bleed onto surrounding edges in a more life like way, for instance: go next to a light in your room, look directly at the light, then slowly move your finger so it almost blocks the light and youll see light bleeding onto the far edge of your hand or even ferther. to really see the difference just look at bioshock infinite and the way things glow in it, youll notice the difference pretty easily.
"Collaborating with other teams in the world" - DICE Activision doesn't even allow Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games and Treyarch contact each other even though they are all working on the same IP..

You do know Battlefield isn't the only game that uses Frostbite right? You're defending one team and attacking the other. Frostbite is nothing short of an amazingly piece of technology, one of the best engine's right now.
I'm not saying they haven't in the distant past. I have owned every single Battlefield title myself. They just haven't released any WW2 titles recently. They released 1942, but that wasn't really a true reflection of what BF developers are capable of producing. All their recent titles have a modern setting and it would be nice to see a release as big as BF3 and 4 in a WW2 era.
There's a even simplier thing. Arma 3 = Simulator CoD = Arcade style shooter Bf4 = War themed game with both realistic stuff and arcade stuff mixed together

What would be really cool: if a player hits right into the scope of an other player. The scope breaks. But you have to hit it directly. Otherwise the scope will always break if there is a gunfight between two players.
You mean 'crashes'? I don't know what kind of a toaster you play on, but on PC, the BF4 crashing issue has been fixed and BF3 pretty much never crashes.

Hey man I just wanted to comment to share my point of view. I am personally a CoD gamer myself and ever since BF 4 was announced I planned on getting it as soon as it is released. Recently however I've changed my mind and I tell you why. There are various types of people. There are people who take the game seriously and play tactically and try to outsmart the enemy (Battlefield), and you have people who just play casually and enjoy fast paced arcade style gameplay.
Brace yourself for me BF4 soon i join you and gonna play the hell out of you. I have ordered a new PC that will easily be play able on you with high or ultra settings without lag :)
