Awesome content brother. I totally agree with your explanation of these houses as Environmental friendly being an Environmental and Civil Eng. and they are really energy efficient. They are warm inside during the winters and cool inside during the summers due to the insulation of thick mud walls. All the materials used are 100% organic, unlike todays materials that are very toxic to environment. The roof shingles are especially the best feature of these houses because the roofs we use today are metals galvanized with Zinc, which goes in the water with time and causes heavy metal pollution of our water sources. Similarly, I can give infinite number of examples.

This way the same route which was used by Akbar to conquer Kashmir and Yusuf Shahi Chak, the last King of Kashmir was defeated but unfortunately this road has been forgotten and is only written in history books as Khah gully, govt should construct an all weather Highway via Tosa maidan connecting Ponch with Kashmir...
