It has been a long road to self body acceptance but it is self acceptance - I don't really care what other people think about how I look. I appreciate your honesty and you look fantastic!
I was terrified I'd be allergic to implants, that's why I never considered it. I know not having the choice for your own body is the hardest part. I am so sorry you went through that. I don't care what other people say either, we are the ones that have to be happy with ourselves, everything else is just noise. Thank you so much for watching and for your comment and compliment! Yesterday was my 8 weeks post double mastectomy AFC surgery. I am struggling with how to dress too. Facing people who knew me before, with large breasts, can be tough because I see them looking. I appreciate your flat fashion videos!
I totally understand the looks thing, if people seem confused when they see me, I make it my business to address the elephant in the room. if they didn't know me prior but i see the curiosity/confusion on their face, i'll say "i had a prophylactic bilateral mastectomy because i was high risk for breast cancer." I don't say it to them because i think i owe anyone an explanation, i say it because i understand curiosity, I'm proud of my decision and I use it as an opportunity to raise awareness. I also always mention breast implant illness if I am asked why I didn't get reconstruction. It's good to own your choices, the more you verbalize it, the easier it gets. I hope that makes sense and isn't just a ramble lol ANYWAY I will definitely have more flat fashion videos coming soon! thank you so much for watching and for your comment!
