Then, they dig in to a perfect-for-summer Ruby Red Paloma recipe with incredible grapefruit flavors and fizz from Fever-Tree’s Sparkling Pink Grapefruit Soda. Get the entire ingredient list below, then dig in to more from the mix at themixga.com
You’ll Need:
Fever-Tree Sparkling Pink Grapefruit
2 oz grapefruit juice
2 oz Herradura Silver Tequila
1/2 oz lime juice
1/2 oz agave syrup
Grapefruit slice
Basil
Ice
Steps:
- Put Grapefruit juice, Tequila and Syrup into martini shaker.
- Squeeze lime juice into shaker
- Press Grapefruit Slice to side of glass
- Fill glass with ice
- Shake martini shaker vigorously
- Pour over glass with ice
- Garnish with basil
- Top with Fever-Tree Sparkling Pink Grapefruit
You can actually buy Squirt at Publix and Kroger which is the most common grapefruit soda used in Mexico to make that drink.
They tend to use Jarritos Grapefruit soda more often... atleast the Mexican restaurants I was in. I'm sure it's all the same sugar carbonation though.
Which artificial additives does Herradura use?
Fever Tree isn’t even close to Jarritos.
The basil is really weird.
