Corey Wolfenbarger true! No problem man! Been a fan of your work on ig and im happy you finally hopped on the youtube train documenting your work! I look forward on seeing more videos man.
I've been getting mad stressed because I didn't want them to be too serious. This is the vibe I wanted so thanks for saying that lol. Big love Damien hope all is well - catch you on the gram!
I'm also here on Matt's suggestion. Just getting back into film myself. Starting a few roles of Fuji Acros and Portra 400 on a Minolta a9 and Nikon f801s. Love them.
Nice video! My friend who also shoots with a mamiya 7 showed your instagram so I've been a fan of your photography for a while. Stoked to now see some videos that are well filmed and edited/generally just nice to watch.
Hi Corey, here from William Verbeeck, you two have some killer content, thank you for sharing and inspiring. Can you tell me what lens is filming with the Panasonic ? killer video, awesome timing and color grading too.thanks in advance
Nice video! Didn't like the blue/greenish tint of the Ektar film too much. I get the idea of showing the film as it is without too much editing. Though it would be quite nice to see how you would personally correct them. Maybe in the sense of comparing some raw scans with some examples of colour corrected ones. (Maybe an idea for a separate video ;-) ) Keep up the good work!
Great start Corey,in future tell ALL those pretty FEMALEs, heck yeah I have a channel!!! Since slide film doesn't intest you, check Kodak Pro Image, ingle rolls at here in LA are about $5.29 .
Thanks man. And yeah, it's definitely a different type of satisfaction putting something like this out. Biggest respect to all video guys / gals - it's a ton of work lol.
Got to admit that color slide film is more expensive to use if all you are doing is developing the film and scanning the images into computer files. Remember that slides were designed to be projected, and when used as such, yield stunning images which the tribe of over-exposed Porta shooters are never going to experience. Actually, when properly exposed, processed and scanned, it's far easier to end up with an excellent image scan when you start with a good slide film, because you have the positive image of the slide as a reference. I appreciate that these guys shoot film and support the medium, but the world is not a patchwork of pastels obtained by torturing Porta.
So good, Corey. Love all the film community has to offer, happy to have another solid channel to follow for inspiration. Smokies are an awesome place. It really is a lot of saturation, but I think Ektachrome has its place. Check me out some time if you feel like it.
There will never be too much UA-cam Channels about film.
I agree! I hope everyone else feels that way too haha.
would you mind listing a few other cool ones like this one?
