Great overview of Vail. The place excels for eMtb! One giant fire road climb with a bunch of options at the top. On my regular MTB I can only get 2 laps in before I’m done, with the e bike it’s endless Fun. I think it’s important to mention that ladders and 4114 are significantly harder, steeper, rockier and more exposed than Matco.
Thanks Nico! There really wasn’t anyone to ask about the trails the first few times we were up there. Such a huge place to explore, I hope this guide will help new riders pick and choose trails.
Thank you Emtb Rookie! I Just had an Patreon ride this weekend! it wasn't announced but it was mainly for my early Patreon supporters! I am planning on making another ride soon. stay tuned!
Thank you Alien MTB! glad this guide helped you! I was pretty confused the first few times I was there and there really isn't anyone there to help with trail direction either!
Man I wish I would have seen this before I went to So Cal. I was in Temecula a few weeks ago. I had no idea where this was. I have to try this one and Greer next time I come down to visit my buddies at Spoke X. I was always wonder where Vail Lake was. 🙏🙏🔥

Excellent video guide for this place. Your production level has really grown over the last year.
Thank you Ian! This means a lot!
Sweet Video...I need to go one of these days!

I barely bought my YT Decoy, thanks for the guide. I live in el Centro CA, hope to take a visit to this place next month. Is there a Jumpline?
Nice decoy is sick! Yes there is a jumpline! It’s not too difficult to find. Do you have Trailforks?
@@frankiesemtb yeah I have trailforks.
@@asd5738 cool! Just search for the jumpline it’s pretty easy to get to
Great video! I’m going to Vailocity in a couple of weeks, what are good intermediate trails to ride that aren’t too chunky?
Thank you! Tunnel of love, Marlin, slingshot, speakeasy, electric catfish. And more new XC trails around the bottom.
My son really likes the flowy fun stuff, any reccomendations intermediate or less?
tunnel of love off of ambulance the main climb up is a green trail its flowy and long perfect for beginner
Awesome location i got to try it out and its not to far from me
Great place to ride!
Can I ride my sur ron here?
So what power mode were you riding in most of the time?
I am thinking I could get 5 laps in ECO.
I do apologize! I forgot and left that information out in the video.. i am on Trail mode.. and my wife has been climbing it on eco / trail
You should get paid by the parks for making these videos!
Again. Another piece of technology making people lazy. Proud to say. I earn my climbs. Good luck to you.
Thank you good luck with you as well!
Hi Jim, actually, making people ride more, not lazy. I double my mileage since getting an ebike, smiles for miles.
24 miles on an E bike is not a lot.
I'm usually pretty gassed by 20miles of eMTB riding, if my eMTB had an throttle that might be a different story!
Someone should have done this years ago. 👍
