Finally....I've been waiting for this video, don't know how I missed it. I have yet to see this one around town; I have seen a Daytona Gray with a matte finish. I love mine!
Hi There 🖐 That RS6 looks sick! Your work really paid off the end result is amazing! I saw your video with Matt, I am sure that you picked up some great ideas from his obsesses book of knowledge. Cheers!!.. 😎
Been waiting for the full vid Caleb beast of a car, great job. I’ve just finished putting my 3 piece split rims back together after replacing barrels and one lip. New tyres on gyeon rim 2 coats each wheel they look great back on the Audi tomorrow getting ready for the summer 😎😎😎
This Audi RS6 is the sweet love everything about it including the loud rumble, overall love your detailing. 🖤💯👌 I hope you get to detail a Cybertruck one day that would be awesome 🤞😁
Thanks a lot!! I have 2 customers awaiting delivery! I'll get one in due time. That will be one heck of a video. I've fully researched up on what needs to be done to protect it. Excited to share when the time comes
It's @tintbytyler's Shop. I've moved a lot of my work there with him because most of what I do now involves him doing tint or PPF, and vice versa with his jobs. I still have my shop though Lol
This is where it gets dumb-ocd for myself, so bear with me a second. The orange one is fantastic. Probably one of the best cutting pads I've used. Rarely do I use microfiber or wool now, I mostly change product when I want more cut + they last forever. For the yellow, I use the foam Griot's pads for my 2", and Rupes for 3 and 5. I have been testing Griot's yellow ones for the 3", but to be honest, for 3"+ sizes, Rupes yellow + Sonax perfect finish is still the best I've tried for both finishing & refining. So TLDR, I use mostly both brands except for cutting, I stick to the orange. I'm going to pick up some lake county foam + microfiber pads and test here soon on a few cars I have scheduled.
Bro great on the video editing and your work. The car came out looking amazing keep up the good work, I live in Orlando. Maybe we can connect and work on something together if you are interested.
For multi-step corrections, I really like the Orange Griot's Garage foam cutting pad + Koch Chemie Heavy Cut - Followed by a Rupes Yellow Pad + Sonax Perfect Finish. Makes for easy heavy cutting without being too crazy aggressive, and refines to a flawless gloss. Hope this helps!
Love the hard work on her. Thank y’all!
Is this yours? I also have a Daytona Gray RS6 (2021). Pretty much a garage queen, so you won't see it out too often in LKL.
Beautiful car, beautiful work, beautiful editing 👍

Sick work as usual! How do those orange Griots Boss pads compare to the Rupes yellow pads?

I use 1 of three. A cheap Amazon one 😂, a chemical guys one, and a PF22.2

What camera and lens are you using?
Sony A7 III w/ a Sigma Art 24-70 f/2.8. Hope this helps!
What pad and polish do you use for polishing hard paints like Audi?
