I am super stoked about the shout out Amy! Thank you! So excited y'all chose my photo to use on the cover. I'll cherish this forever (and wear the tshirt til I'm 100!) Cheers for all the success of this project, it is just fabulous.
How exciting for you Carla!! 📸And those of us from that wonderful 35mm analog era thank you as well for a great picture!!! 😊 Being a photographer since my teens (when I became a fan of Amy's that would last 40+ years) Kids today will never know the exciting anticipation of going to pick up your photos after they were printed and hoping that they all came out okay and relieved when they did and the sometimes disappointment when they didn't!! Oh my those were such fun days!! But again how exciting for Amy to give you a much deserved shout out...which of course is not surprising because she has always given credit where credit was due. 😊 I know you are really enjoying these videos as well as the rest of us who have always been loyal fans to her and her music and have never stopped feeling the message they always bring and how the spirit still moves you and still stirs your heart. As she said...with words or without. These videos brings back such great fun that I always had at any of Amy's concerts that I went too and wonderful memories made being at them with friends who are no longer here with me. 🙏❤ 🎶
I have been married for 35 years to my hubby Tyler. I got lucky because he’s a sign language interpreter. He interprets everything for me. He loves your music and it is harder for me. Because I’m deaf, my eyes hear for me. They dance with the emotion and the movement. Thank you! 🤟💕🎶🎼🎵
Amy has MANY Deaf fans- Tracy McCameron and I have regularly attended her concerts and events. Thank you, Amy for reaching ALL of us, Hearing AND Deaf…🤟🏼♥️😀
Such an amazing moment in time. Some of my most vivid childhood memories were when my dad , Terry McMillan, was on this tour and the experiences we had with him and the band . Thank you Amy for releasing this ❤
I was a CCM Liner notes nerd who loved to know who played and sang on albums. Amy’s arena tours were a family reunion, a glimpse of heaven as I felt like everyone was familiar in the room. The Band were names I recognized and the joy of seeing them perform in person was as intense as experiencing Amy’s performance . I was at the MLPS show and there too, it was a powerful night.
Thank you Amy for finally releasing the whole concert in CD. When the 4 songs in this tour was included in the Lead Me On 20th Anniversary Edition I said why just 4 songs and finally it's here the whole concert. Thank you. I can't express how this mean to me. Your music has been a great inspiration to me as a young adult in the 80's. God bless and keep the music flowing.
Whether it be one of her albums, or videos, or interviews, or simply a fond memory kept in my heart, time spent with Amy is always a blessing. Love her.
Amen to that! Me three - Love Amy Grant and the wonderful example of a woman of faith that she has been consistently thru the years! My Father's Eyes Album was my first Christian Artist music I ever heard and was gifted - loved every song and asked my friend how come I have never heard of this pretty lady and why don't I hear her songs on the radio? Because I loved it the first-time hearing and I know if they played it, people would love it! That's when I first heard the word secular music- What??? oh, I did not realize the separation intentionally done - Wow! I was young and just starting my Walk & Journey with Jesus, My personal Savior & LORD, and the reading of the Bible! Then after Graduating from high school, I moved up to VA & w/Church group, we got tickets to see Amy Grant in VA Beach - w/her then husband, Gary Chapman- he was great, so funny; sweet - and opening act was Michael W. Smith, his first-year touring w/Amy! Concert was fantastic!!! Listening to both ever since & enjoying their wonderful friendship thru the years! Amy is a beautiful lady inside & out! One of my very favorite artists and Christian Lady!
I love Amy in the studio and in concert. I love her performance with the band of “Everywhere I Go” in this live collection. Some time, during the 90s 🤷♂️, she and a band performed with an arrangement of “Everywhere I Go” with acoustic guitars instead of synthesizers and it knocked my socks off. How I would love to hear that performance recorded. It was amazing.
Amy..... great seeing you on UA-cam. In 1985 I met you at a Fred Meyers music department in Tacoma Washington. I was with some friends from my church youth group and waited in line for a autograph and being able to meet you in person. You performed at the Tacoma Dome. Needless to say, since that meeting, I have been a fan of all your music ❤❤❤. Im glad we have had this journey together through music and video.
It has been fabulous to hear you talk about your art. I've been drawn to you since I first saw you on Paul and Jan Crouch's show. you've been such a blessing to me over the years.I am a visual artist and have an idea of what goes into a work of art. Thank you for allowing me to enjoy your thoughts.
So nice hearing Amy talk about this project and all the gifted people that colabrated in in the process, so we can all take a little step in the past with fond memories. 😁💜🤗🤗🤗🤗
I attended an Amy Grant concert in Austin, TX in late 1986, and had to leave early to catch the bus to my night shift as a RN. GREAT concert- and long ! It was amazing to have even gotten to a live concert, especially with my weird hours as a nurse.
Your sharing today takes me back to the 1985, before LEAD ME ON to UNGUARDED, the album that was the soundtrack of my new life in Christ when I got baptized in Brooklyn Heights at age 30. Like THE JESUS MOVEMENT movie, these vital remembrances empower us to keep being encouragers to others in their journeys.
I was so excited to see this album came out. Lead me on was the very first concert of yours that I saw. It was at the Ohio State Fair. After that I saw you on every tour that you came to Columbus. I loved your Christmas concert with Michael W. Smith and CeCe Winans. I've seen you in concert 8 times.
i know Amy doesnt do social media- but music without words(our very few words) that has changed my life in the last 3 years are Trance and Progressive House-if you want to be move and let the holy spirit move u- 2 songs- Closer- Giuseppe Ottaviani & Chris Burns- Forgiveness- Marsh
As far as I’m concerned that album and tour were Amy’s peak of peaks. That material is immortal and I’ve experienced those tracks like they were written just for me. And I’m glad they got to relive Terry’s talent and life in these recordings.
Put on great sounding headphones and it sounds amazing. 😊 As far as picture quality I have no issues with it considering how it was pieced together and we get what we get! I'm thankful they didn't throw it away!!
I went to the Adelaide Australia gig of this tour... I can't remember the date. Do the moderators have a list of the tour dates across the world? Big ask I know!
