@@jamaljohnson6938 he did mean it. He’s the only one David Benoit has said supported him after Chris killed his family. Jericho is the Goat
As sad as I was that night, it was a PERFECT show from start to finish. AEW and Tony Kahn and all involved did everything they could to help give the family a great memory. It was my favorite show of the year!
It truly was. Now let's never have a show like this for a long ass time.
MJF is officially the best heel for doing that
I agree! It was amazing that he was able to do something for Brodie, in character :)
Sami's reaction, tho XD
MJF did him a solid there.
RIP Brodie

All without breaking kayfabe.
Jericho makes a brilliant commentator.. the man is a legend
2019: Luke Harper returns to help Erick Rowan in his match against Roman Reigns.
2020: Erick Rowan/Redbeard debuts to help Brodie Lee's stable, Dark Order in their match against the Inner Circle.
Bludgeon Brothers 4 life 🥺
RIP Jon Huber 🙏🙏🙏
Such a underrated tag team
@@SavitTheGoalie yeah. I was a fan of them.
@@SavitTheGoalie Good thing they won the SmackDown Tag Team Championships in New Orleans and had their WrestleMania moment.
-1 is going to remember this show for the rest of his life.
There is absolutely no way to keep the Dark Order as heels moving foward. Nobody will boo them after tonight.
Dark Order can't never be heel in the first place, they are too funny and entertaining
Dark Order 4 Life ESPECIALLY after this show.
@@trevorfranks69 Yeah, like, before Brodie got the TNT title, they were definitely heels, but once that happened and they started showing off their comedy chops (albeit mostly in BTE and Dark), it started to become very hard to see them as heels and as more and more spotlight got shone on Jon Silver, it became pretty clear that they were eventually going to go face through sheer force of will, similar to what happened with the New Day. At this point though, there's no going back, they're full-on faces now. JR even called Silver a "white-meat babyface" in this match, which is pretty definitive.
@@R0D3R1CKV10L3NC3 yup...and recruiting Colt Cabana doesn't help the heel image at all either
@@trevorfranks69 I'll miss Brodie randomly throwing papers at their faces.
For me this was the most emotional moment of a show filled with many! AEW put up the best start to finish wrestling show Ive ever seen with this tribute show, this match will certainly be one of my most rewatched matches for years
I hope they hire Eric Rowan, I think Brodie would’ve wanted him to take over the Dark Order.
Yes 100 agree with you it’s perfect really
@@jellyhead8107 same here too
A scary big man like him would be a good leader tbh, i've seen his feud with roman and his god damn good as a monster heel.
Definitely agree
100% agree.
That was so emotional. I'm not ashamed to say I teared up. RIP Brodie.
silver, stu grayson, and rowan look like a pokemon that has evolved
Same thought, you nailed it!!
If Rowan get signed in AEW, they should do a tag team. And they would call it evolution... Yeah, no, you know what, nervermind.
Lmao can't unsee this 😂😂😂
I don't watch much of AEW but this is the best of what us as human beings r capable of heartfelt and emotional theres nothing better than this my heart goes out to his family
I've never cried so hard to a tribute before, the lariat was beautiful, this whole match is beautiful, it shows that a pro wrestling is not only a scripted fight, but also a beautiful story telling that can even made a grown ass man like me cried
Thank you Jon Huber for all the things you've done in this business
And this ladies and gentlemen is wat gonna make AEW the future of wrestling RIP Brodie Lee
Tony choking cause of tears described everything and message of brother to late brother hit straight down my heart
John silver is the greatest babyface introduce cruiserweight or lightweight division he would kill that damn sector plus the height difference of john and ortiz is also not so much there are so many boys who can participate in that division
But for now rip mr brodie
Dark order 4 life❤❤😢
It was Excalibur. But of course I agree
Thank you AEW. Rest in peace Brodie Lee you are the reason I started watching AEW and for now AEW is my DNA
Chris calling him Erik Rowan over and over was amazing. Rest In Peace Brodie lee
Ever since Brodie’s passing, I’ve heard so many stories of how amazing a person he was. Not just as a great in ring worker but, a dedicated family man. He was so much fun to watch and, I’m glad he was able to get his release and discover his love of wrestling again before he passed away.
3:05 MJF is such a great heel man and seeing Brodie's son hit him with a kendo stick made me smile. Awesome. Also, *THE SHEEP HERDER ERICK ROWAN IS IN AEW! HOLY CRAP!*
perfect sell
Man...I haven't been touched by a Wrestler's passing since Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit.
It's crazy how we barely know them but at heart we know they are people just like us, hardworking people that put their bodies, life and family at risk just to entertain.
Thank you for the great moments Mr Brodie Lee and all my prayers to his family. 😢
The fact that even someone like MJF is willing to “put over” Lees son like that is just amazing!!!
I always got the impression that out of kayfabe, MJF is a super nice, friendly dude. I have a feeling a lot of times the nicest dudes make the best heels.
@@R0D3R1CKV10L3NC3 he flipped off a kid in a meet and greet
@@JaskaranSingh-rq6cr But that's still him in kayfabe. I meant him out of character. It's just that most people never see him out of character because he's got that old school mentality of never breaking kayfabe.
I get the feeling that anyone who knows him personally would say he's a really nice dude if they had to be honest, assuming they were willing to break kayfabe themselves.
@@JaskaranSingh-rq6cr that means kayfabe isn't dead afterall..last time i heard of someone keeping in character like that, it was the undertaker, and that's saying something
But props to mjf he is still acting as an asshole harassing brodie jr and receiving a beating from kayfabe perspective
Never watched AEW...This tribute was classy, heartfelt and amazing. I'm in, I'm supporting you guys now and I hope Brodie Lees family are taken care of.
Silver really should be proud for putting on such a performance in Mr. Brodie Lee's honor
Nice to see the kid with a smile on his face.....keep the faith lil man you got good ppl around...-1 Dark Order🖐
God damn, this one hit hard... well done to AEW.... Silver is Gold.... Long Live Brodie Lee
It’s amazing to see how much someone can be loved. I’m just a fan, this made me cry...a lot.
2:09 when Rowan showed up I cried so hard
So did I
me too.
Same
@@timothyloyd7022 I’m hoping that Rowan stays in AEW and joins the dark order as their enforcer
Same.
I've seen a lot of wrestling in my life, I don't think I've seen a more perfect segment than this one. Real, raw emotion, a true fitting tribute to a great man. We will miss you, Brodie.
Silver gonna be a huge star in 2021.
I hope he keeps carrying the legacy of Mr. Brodie within him. 🖐🏻😔
MJF pulling Brodie Lee Jr mask off was great. He is such a wrestling fan and he played it so well. Covering his face ten giving the Heel what he had coming. Brodie Lee would have been proud.
Plus I love Jericho saying he's a bad seed already :)
I legit starting crying when Rowan broke down
Redbeard
It doesn't matter what his name is it is still sad
A year later I come back to this clip it still holds up as a great tribute to Brodie Lee. See you down the road Mr Lee.
For me,the most emotional moment in tonight's matches(excluding tributes) was John silver using discuss lariat and then breaking down in the middle of the ring.John silver was really hit hard by the departure of Mr brodie
RIP Brodie Lee,You will continue to live in our memories
We love you Brodie thank you for entertaining us and being someone we all strive to be
The Exalted Son will shine on one day in AEW
Nice name 😭
Cody already named him "The Negative One".
@@SillyDeal1604 Put it to fan vote I'm sure this would be fitting, name change if have to down the line. Happens.
imagine him debuting on aew with his fathers belt
Holy. 👏👏👏👏 Top tier name for Brodie Jr.
when even jim cornette comes out and says he got it wrong about aew and brodie lee, and he can now see what the company is truly about, says a lot about how far this company has come in such a short time
Yoooo that was beautiful even Aubrey had purple eyeshadow in respect for Brodie Wow thank you AEW, thank you BRODIE LEE 💜🖤🤍👁
Dude the smile on my face when I saw Eric Rowan just pop up out of nowhere... This is why I like AEW... They just be willing to do anything for the fans
This is the first time i cried watching AEW. The impact that Brodie brings just inspiring. RIP
I haven’t cried so much watching a wrestling show in a very long time. Amazing job everyone
I can't wait for Brodie Lee Jr to follow in his father's footsteps and blaze trails like his pops
God Bless AEW seeing little Brodie smiling like that is absolutely amazing!
Silver is gonna be an amazing star in 2021, definitely has to wear that Brodie attire more often.
He doesn’t move well in it lol
