Everyone's on the hi-pivot band wagon, probably because it works, just like in F1 racing, whenever someone comes out with a new tech that works, everyone else follows suit.
When it comes to hidden frame/suspension configurations, I have questioned are these brands using another patented design perhaps with very small tweak's and they don't want the legal trouble that may come with it? Do any frames have to go thru any kind of technical checks by the UCI?
My GT was stolen from my garage and now I'm screwed for a way to work, it's a 20 minute bike ride so at least an hour walk🥺 People suck like get a job and buy your own stuff.
looks like (from an engineering perspective) they are all copying each other. nothing new but a few short lived fads returning (high pivot rubbish). Im quite disappointed the people designing the bikes have no new ideas.
What bit of tech was your favourite?
Stocked to see the specialized uncovered
Pivot frame.
The fast forward function when ever you mention woman’s mountain biking is a fantastic bit of tech 👍
Glad to see Rachel back… She is so naturally dominant. A true GOAT
Very cool video
Always like to see the bikes!
Great show🙏🏼
Her Majesty Rachel is back, looks like the UK may dominate this season?🇬🇧
clear to see why Atherton went with 3d printing when it takes 90 hours to achieve all the smooth contours on the pivot lugs.
I haven't seen detail on this - are the Pivot lugs all CNC machined?

the tacky chan came stock on the supreme v5 signature air which is weird
That tread hasn't been released to the public, as far as I know. 'First Ride' is the moniker used for their prototype tyres.
@@MrMuz99 ive seen it in person on the v5 signature air and i was on commencals website it showed the tackey chan coming stock

If they truly are rubbish they’ll die a quick death, don’t be sad.
