I'm so grateful that you consider international students in this!, It is so important to us to look up to other students, and your videos make it so much easier and very comforting

I am literally from Tanzania, East Africa. I enjoy watching her vlogs so much because she incorporates very useful content. She's doing great with UA-cam! I watch her videos regularly since I plan on studying in the US at some point in the future. I was once accepted by several colleges but didn't have the money to pay for on-campus housing. I did apply to UM as well.

I went to a lot of home basketball games at the "U" just off Miller Road. Those were the days when Trey McKinney Jones was playing. My friend from college (Notre Dame) is his stepfather. I worked in Miami around that time. My favorite part of Miami was the long run from Alice Wainwright Park to Key Biscayne over the two bridges. The 2nd bridge past the aquarium often had a lot of ocean fish and shark underneath early in the morning. I was a statistical rarity in FL with two master's degrees from UF and FSU. I did cheer for Trey in those games though - great times at the "U". The home crowd was fantastic. I lived in Davie for a year and Tallahassee for 13 years. I have since returned to my home state of AZ.

How is parking on campus for students that have cars? Is the parking lot big? Are there frequent break ins?

Hey thanks for the video! I just have a few questions about UM. How is the culture? (Is the student population diverse? Is the administration supportive? How's student/night life?) Which term did you apply to begin at UM and when did you receive your acceptance letter? Is it hard to find an affordable place near campus? Do they have residences with private baths? Please respond I want to apply so bad :(

hi! i answer a lot of these questions in my previous videos (pros and cons of UM, what to know before you go, etc) so definitely watch those for more information. i applied regular decision for fall 2018 and received my acceptance in march 2018. i live on campus, so i'm not sure about off campus housing. check the UM housing & residential life website to look at the floor plans of the rooms on campus. best of luck!

You are honest this is the truth about how kids spend time. Resting!! You could have gone grocery shopping, but seriously who wants to do that? You have two online classes? Why?

I went and graduated U Miami .only speaking from my experience by I hated that school . I’ve been to multiple colleges / school and had tons of different jobs . U Miami was by far the worst environment I had ever been in. Bunch of rich kids from up north . Kids where mean and cocky . Go somewhere else trust me . Hopefully someone sees this and saves 300,000$ from going there . Although there were some cool people but over the student body was full of punks and cocky kids compared to other environments I had been in. If I had to do college again I wouldn’t even consider university of Miami
