    Lots of work went into this one as it is the biggest vehicle I have ever corrected and coated. Over 3 days I worked to bring my truck to a whole new level and I think it really payed off!

    You are the first detailer to use air pressure to blow off the water from the car
    Most try to push the idea of getting a special device to do that
    They use even different air blowers as a only way to get rid of the water
    I guess they get a kick back every time they promote that idea or free stuff from the retailer
    Nonsense

    • @CameronRDavis
      @CameronRDavis  Рік тому

      Yes I used compressed air for a while and then ended up getting a blower. Either is fine but blower definitely moves more water.

    Quick question how do you like the McKees rinseless? I've been trying different types of waterless and rinseless washing processes and mckees being local to me I really want to try them plus it seems everyone agrees they make a damn good product!!! Have you tried it against diy's rinseless yet? Also one last but pretty important question about the mckees, does it leave a film when it dries on the car if you for example miss some while drying?

    • @CameronRDavis
      @CameronRDavis  Рік тому

      I don’t recommend rinse less washing at all. I’m sure the product is great, but if you’re going to get your car wet you might as well just wash it normally

      Sure thing Antonio! Professional Detailing Products in Ohio. Coating can be a bit finicky if you wait too long to wipe off. Key is to wipe right when it starts to bead on itself. Best of luck!

      @CameronRDavis  2 роки тому +1

      @@antoniotzul8807 I can’t sent links in the comment section unfortunately. But if you go to professionaldetailingproducts.com and go to their coating section, it is called Perpetual 10h Graphene. I like the coating for paint and wheels but hated it on my windshield because it would cause wiper chatter. I’ve been using CarPro Flyby Forte for windshield coating.

    • @CameronRDavis
      @CameronRDavis  2 роки тому +2

      @@antoniotzul8807 I would caution against it if this is your first time using a coating. Inc sit cures you can’t even compound it off because sit is so hard, so if you make a mistake you would have to wetsand. I’d highly recommend either CarPro Uk 3.0 or Crystal Serum light for your first coating as they are easy to work with. Once you get one coating under your belt you’ll be more confident and can try a tougher one. Make sure you do it indoors and have a decent light or two!

    • @CameronRDavis

      Yes lots of work, but important to polish for coating adhesion anyway. Been over 7 months since I applied the coating, it’s been through the gross salty Pittsburgh winter and is still holding up great and water beading as it should!

    Nice job. I have an F150 as well and it is very time consuming to get a good outcome like this. I've been using spray ceramic but I think I'm going to bite the bullet and use a standard ceramic/graphene coating.

      Hey, Mike! Yeah man, a quality coating is worth it. I used PDP’s on this truck (10h Graphene, 50ml). About $130 a pop. I also recommend GYEON MOHs. Super easy application and is silky smooth to the touch which I personally really like.

    • @CameronRDavis
      @CameronRDavis  4 місяці тому

      I didn’t go too crazy with that since it was a new truck. I just pushed a little harder on the pad and gave it more of a polish/clean than a paint correction since there weren’t scratches on it. Otherwise I would just use the flex mini polisher with 1 inch pads
