Haha she's bored with the event, and as an athlete I don't blame her wanting to do something else. She's done quite a bit, can't blame her for hanging up the towel.

Truthfully, the 400m is not that exciting anymore because Miller dominates the event with a clear margin ahead of the others when she is healthy. That may be why she is looking to move to another event. There are a lot of fast 400m runners that are in other events. And if the schedulers moved things around, I think they could arrange to have more people added to 400m that could make the event more attention grabbing. First, arrange it to have these fast 400mH runners in the event i.e. Femke, Sydney, and Delilah. If Athings opts for the double in the future, push her down to the 400m, too. They may not be as fast as Shaunae at the moment, but if they focused on training for the event, one of those girls could at least push her more and make the event a little more exciting. But at the moment, I don't think the worlds best 400m runners are running 400m. They are doing a bunch of other events. Sydney can run faster than Talitha Diggs. Athing can run an open 400m faster than Diggs. And I am sure there are some hidden 400m runners all over the world running the 400mH. Make it easier for them to do the double.

@@arsenioseslpodcast3143 no sir whereabouts test. She was tested a few weeks before Doha and after never failed a drug test. If you ask any pro athlete they will tell ya the testing community is rigged. It’s a control tactic the really wanna know where u r as if you’re a kid. Whereabouts cases are bad for the sport. Bcuz you’re punishing me even tho I didn’t fail a test. If I’m getting suspended I might as well look and actually be on that juice 🤣🤣🤣
You want them to force athletes to do events they don't want to do, for spectators' entertainment?
@@georgiabarker6852 a lot of these athletes would choose to double up to get more metals, more wins, more fame, more money. Phelps, Carl Lewis, Allyson Felix…these athletes often choose to expand past the event they are good at for a challenge. Miller is currently doing that now. But the higher ups have to make it easier for these athletes to do it.
EDIT: Allyson was a 200m runner specialist that expanded to include the 400m in order to get more metals and more wins. That was not her even of choice and now, it’s arguably the thing that is given her the most hardware.
