SpaceX Just Completed Starship's FINAL Test before Flight 4!
Вставка
- Опубліковано 19 тра 2024
- SpaceX are rapidly approaching T-0 for the fourth orbital launch attempt of the Starship integrated flight vehicle! Earlier today, they completed an apparently successful wet dress rehearsal, which means very little is left to do before launch, exciting times! Elsewhere, we saw the very first 21st launch and landing of a Falcon 9 first stage, Blue Origin’s grand return to crewed flight, China adds to its Beijing 3C constellation, and much, much more. Enjoy!

You said it!
Great work as always "Space Grian"!
I hate that I agree with this
Eww, take my like and go!
fr he sound like him the first time i sow him i thought he was grian
Grian? grain? propellant grain? coincidence?

Flight 3 literally feels like last week
How long ago was it actually ?
@@mr.mirror1213 2 months
Fr
@@fitnesstop112 it's pretty impressive that spaceX is launching it 2 months after the 3rd flight
@@FuntimeJatsi just wait from a year, it will probably be like every month or multiple times a month
absolutely love this series💗💗
All best to you Matt, your videos are great !
Smashing news update, please keep making these vid news updates!
SpaceX is only allowed a certain number of deluge tests per year because of the potential environmental effects of releasing that much water into the area. My guess is that SpaceX may no longer need a deluge test for every WDR and each deluge test they save during testing is one more deluge they can do during launch.
Says who? Are they afraid of all the damage done by water? What about the stuff that falls from the sky?
@@TheEvilmooseofdoom The restriction comes from the original FAA license environmental study. The release of the water is as designed. Starship isn't designed to drop debris from the sky, that's why the mishap reports are required.
Thanks for the update Matt!
Super excited for starship to hopefully complete a fully successful NON disaster test flight!
Same! Hopefully this time the ship makes it through reentry without a tumble!
I doubt Starship will ever succeed.
Disaster? I think you're not looking at the big picture.
@@gdutfulkbhh7537 Most haters don't want it to succeed.
@@gdutfulkbhh7537 hence why you aren't a rocket engineer
I've really enjoying your videos.
CANT WAIT!!!! What a time to be alive!!!!
That new controller looks insane
genuinely love this series
A launch is a great gamble!
Hope the heat shield works!
Most important!
Did you see the RFA static fire at Saxavord Spaceport? I think they posted a video on twitter the other day
omggg I knew I'd forgotten to include something! Oops, will have to include it next week aha
Wow thx for the information ☺️☺️
Hey Matt, Lowne I’ve been watching you for two years now keep up with the amazing content
Every Matt Lowne video is a gift from God
Matt, your content length is optimal. Thanks!
Agreed… any longer and I start to skip, and unsubscribe etc
2:30 The fact that you waited 10 seconds to say “this didn’t happen”…
i love this series
I had like 3 suggestions of live starship 4 launch livestreams. It took me like 20 minutes to realize it was a very well put together stream by some Indian company that just renamed its channel to spacex
Both Suborbital Pad A and B are gone. Pad A doesn't exist anymore, for a while now.
If it's a wet dress rehearsal, a water deluge test seems appropriate.
Depends when they end the count + they are only allowed to use the deluge so many times a year
I was making a bad joke about the use of the word "wet" in WDR. Taken literally, WDR suggests that you should always use the deluge system..... otherwise nothing gets wet.
@@MichaelCoombes776 damn, no one saw that
I would like to say, at 2:11 the pressure waves seen at launch are absolutely stunning to see. Really shows how much power this thing is pushing.
Bravo for Ed Dwight!!!
Hi Matt!
When will Skylon start testing?
I see you managed to edit in all of it st the last minute, 👍
Also, is the joystick on your controller 2 axis? Or is it 4 buttons? Huge difference.
you’re really the best at thise space news vids. i hate watching 30m long videos half of which is promoting their stuff
We may never know what saturday's video will be
don't you think that New Sheppard booster almost went out of control on landing? it had increasing oscillations just before the touch down and by sheer luck didn't tip over
Bro omg just after this got posted I just got out of my band dress rehearsal lmao
I come for the music and information.
MR LOWNE!
You should recreate venturestar or the DCX/Y in the next ksp video :>
hi mattlowne what do you think is going to happen in flight 4
That looked like a hard landing.
6:30 personally i found it awsome for ed dwight to finally be able to go to space, after being rejected so many years ago
By the way, great video as always
5:05 Everyday Astronaut might change that:)
6 days 23 hours and 32 seconds till lunch
I love that even though it's a vague "3-4 weeks" until launch, it's summer time. So I can just drive on down there the day before if Elon publicly announces the launch date. I can't imagine missing this one.
Matt lowne!!
ROCKETS.❤❤❤
While I think this layout is better, I do miss hearing Matt say "Let's mosey down to Boca Chica"
5:01 I will hold out hope, after all SmarterEveryDay got a tour of ULA's rocket factory!
Starship is really going to be a successful rocket in future, but I think the one place where it can fail is the heatshield tiles thing. NASA also failed in the Space Shuttle program mostly because of falling heat shield tiles
Im hoping for the best but suspect IFT4 will be very much a carbon copy of IFT3 maybe both re-entries and decents a little more controlled but wuth identical outcome 😢
im so happy SpaceX decided to man up, and not go the way of the intercept games stu- *AHEM* *clears throat* "I meant the DoDo."
still crazy this beast of a vehicle is gonna be crew capable.. well at least in orbit for use as a modern LEM.
With the Blue Origin parachute issue, how does Matt know it was the 3rd, redundant, one that had the issue? It might have been the 2nd one that failed & the 3rd filled in as it was supposed to!
😁
SpaceX's repeated failures are what got me back into KSP.
KSP 2 is $70 almost to $80 dollars at Australia
havent been paying attention to any of this at all, they are using cryogenics to launch rockets now?
Video ends like The Sopranos
lol
Space Grian
Well actually we know some more about the soyz, I saw it and so did many more finns
Man, china sure likes to observe their agriculture from space. lol
This was okay, but could really use more cats!
😍😍
ummmmmm Matt suborbital pad A was demolished months ago, now there are NO test pads at the launch site now except for the OLM!
❤
It was more a crude flight than a crewed one.
You sound like Grian ngl though...
Hii
The black guy was not an astronaut because he simply failed to pass the very objective testing criteria and the person responsible for the decision stood his ground to Kennedy directly on the question who was pushing for it. It was a good call. The aptitude testing was colorblind.
Luckily two shoots failed to open ! They would've been hurten for certian ! Somebody call the FAA !
Massey is pronounced "mass-y" not Maysey.
NOT A chance this is the last test
Does anyone know the chances of hitting a satellite if someone just launched into orbit without checking anything?
I love SpaceX. They're funding their Starship program with the most profitable rocket ever to exist. Gotta love it.
And billions from the government!
My Brother did it!
so I was lied to!?! dam
SpaceX just posted some photos so I changed the thumb now haha

I'm waiting to elon colonizing mars
One for the algorithm…
I want to see spacex do well, I hope this launch is a genuine success and that humanity goes on to become multi-planetary, in fact multi-stellar. On the other hand if it blows up on the launchpad and Elon dies screaming with shards of glass in his face, that's good too!
LETS HOPE ITS NOT DURING SCHOOL :| (I'm from UK)
Sure thing, they'll wait for you. It's not like rocket science or something...

What about the bitcoin livestream that was o. The channel
there are many scam channels that run lifestreams about cryptocurrency. sometimes they have a lot of subscribers. often they chage the channel name and image and sometimes even uploaded videos to look like a legit channel. THESE ARE NOT REAL and you should NOT interact with them
all the launch 4 livestreams on youtube are fake, because spaceX only streamson x
Mattt lowwnennenene
i really want to see launch 4 destroy the enitre launch pad lol
If you don’t want to see it launch again till 2025…
@@TaurusSpace i mean laucnhes are cool and all... But it exploding. Hell yeah.
I haven't been pushed your videos in a while and it makes me sad.
I've got this theory that Blue Origin is just feigning competition to SpaceX.
To give the impression of a working free market in the area.
I'll revise this theory the moment Blue Origin reland on orbital class rocket on a boat.
Hearing someone bitch about a $50 pre-release game purchase going wrong then segue into their thousand-plus dollar custom flight controller is pretty damn sobering.
We can say with 100% confidence that the Chinese satellite is not supporting agriculture
much better than spacex fake starship 4 launch that switches to a crypto add, should have known it still had the verticle tanks ;-;

Hahaha - doubters are still called 'haters', even when the man-child himself now says the elephant will only get 40-50 tonnes to LEO. So far, its got nothing. $th launch - "Oh, wow, it got a bit higher and a bit faster, even if it RUD'd" - How many? How many launches does the idiot Musk need to even get the thing to act like a rocket should? Starship mis Musk's folly - or one of them, anyway
