I always put the patch on the inside of the tire.

They have a metal scraper for cleaning that when you use the prebuff cleaner

Ya, I was thinking the same thing, the one with the scraping edge that is perpendicular to the handle, about an inch and a 1/2 wide or so with a little bit of a curve to it...

What u didn't use Tire Jack inside the tire I thought u said that stuff was the best stuff in world and u would recommend it to anyone who purchase that product bc it works great

Patches on the outside never work for several reasons. Like someone else asked, what happened to tireject? Also, use a vulcanize patch on the inside, in many ways, I miss those old style patches, they worked.

For a big tire like that... might as well as buy a tube

@@farming4g Tube doesn't help much for a sidewall puncture. Need to use a boot if one does. Besides, Wes used to be a firm believer in tireject, rarely see him use it anymore

I can see patching the outside in a pinch if the wheel was on it ,,,,,,but you have the wheel off ,,,patch to the inside.................Used fire on bicycle and car tire patch cement ..to speed the process up ...

in a pinch, use a tire plug, keeps you going and it will hold if done right.
Then later on when there is time, do a proper patch on the inside.

I think that is for bigger repairs and a different kind of patch.
