People asking about ZOOM!
So zoom doesn’t give you range anymore which is true. But if you have lower zoom not only is it harder to shoot further away (even if you have 100 range) but your shots simply won’t register properly with lower zoom. 14 zoom is the standard since most SMG’s are at that amount. 15 zoom is very good if the gun allows you to get it. But anything below 14 puts you at a severe disadvantage even with 100 range.
Wallah, i did a lil testing and the origin trait gives it 2 meters of range, so its got to be a little more than 10 or so range
Have you tried onslaught on it yet?
tldr: Zoom doesn't effect damage fall off any more, but it does still extend aim assist falloff

I didn’t show y’all da perks I’m sorry :( but this thing has fragile focus if you want to focus on handling for other characters! So overall it’s very strong and origin trait will help it be viable on other characters besides only titan

That strand pulse from the dungeon has felt incredible to use. Idk if it’s the sights or what, but my keep away moving target roll has been popping the hell off.
May just be not being sniped around every corner, but I’m really liking this new sandbox so far as well
FYI, time to kill is only lower for body shots, if you’re only hitting headshots (optimal time to kill) hasn’t been changed at all, in fact some niche weapons like trace rifles actually kill faster.

All I’m gonna say is when you feel that thing going… holy crap people don’t have the gusto to outgun you in those fights I put a cloudstrike hunter to shame really hard with it and got positive halo reach memories coursing through me on that kill when I beat snipers with the focus rifle back in reach, good times, good times

You can get rangefinder and onslaught with the origin trait it is like having target lock in a way
With the health changes, you should check out multimach when it comes out with kinetic tremors. If you hit bodies, you can still clean up with it. Showrunner has it now, but the other stats are middling
Adjudicator can also get kinetic tremors or even onslaught

Tbf ive believed this about pvp special ammo users since they came out. Just too cheezy imo but if theyre lowering the ttk it makes it a bit better for actual primary
Target lock works ya, but that’s if you’re not hitting optimal ttk. Problem with old target lock was either allowing you to hit optimal with way less precision, or allowing a perfect beam to kill exponentially faster. Now it legit won’t proc if you’re hitting all headies, which I’m happy with, no more absurd 0.6ttk with immortal and whatnot
That's a bummer cause I just started using target locked like last week but hopefully this shakes up the meta!!!

To be fair the tempest is still good anf can probably even keep up. I managed to get a super roll with moving target/rangefinder or target lock. The orgin trait can still boost range too. Yes it has a little less range but it can still have the 14 zoom so you can pick whatever you want. So I guess at the end of the day it depends on playstyle.

I got both max range perks, range masterwork, range finder but frenzy in 2nd collum 😭😭😭 so close to first time G roll.
Still a really good roll though. Getting frenzy to proc in 6v6 can be achievable with the right play style. 4/5 god roll ain’t bad at all though
Frenzy is insane if you know to take advantage. Especially in 3v3s when they don’t expect it

I got a range mw dynamic target lock 93 range roll for my second drop. Yeah it slays
fragile focus is better. target lock does technically work, but it doesn’t change your optimal time to kill. it’s basically useless unless you’re hitting the body.

On your smg roll at the beginning ot wont start target lock until the 8th bullet so you only get target lock for one or 2 bullets before you kill someone on the one you showed
Ofc that with body shots letting it proc. Im pretty sure most guardians will bie before target lock activates. Target lock is just a ease of use perk now instead of a ttk pusher

The zoom is for your shots registering better! A lot of people don’t realize how important zoom is on these lower range weapons like SMG’s and sidearms but it helps A LOT

Glaive ammo is glitched in the checkmate sandbox, you only get one shot per transmat (should be 4, two kills worth of ammo). Like this so Bungie can fix

Def have to farm and test it out, stability is irrelevent for mnk players, but for console/controller players its very important. I have a feeling that Im prob not gonna like it due to the extremely low stability, but like i said, need testing first

The void one? It's stats are literal as$ unless the origin trait pushes it to consistently oneshot at 6.70m it's nowhere near as competitive as Mata or Found.
@@fotis3v480range has nothing to do with kill range on shotguns it’s more about damage so sudden death is probably better at one hitting than all other legendaries
@@fotis3v480 damage falloff can reach 6 and a half meters with slide shot opening shot before damage falloff but only requires 9 pellets, being an aggressive frame. Meaning, you can definitely get consistent kills at the same meters on target. Plus the extra, albeit small, damage from the origin trait helping out. Mata requires almost every single pellet to land (11/12) even at its max falloff.
It has nearly the same damage falloff but with more forgiveness than a max range matador. Just trading handling for it. Unless you have elemental capacitor and an arc subclass on.
I still love unending tempest with dynamic sway fragile focus. Stability masterwork so I have good stability and at 75 range when i have fragile focus plus origin trait I have close to 100. Sure I'll play prophecy a few times but no way I'd grind over and over for this new one when we have a lot of optioms
