Exactly, that's the idea. Like many other super villains with incredible powers, they are so powerful that they are super laid back, calm, confident, arrogant, conceited and look down on everyone. That demon is a primordial fear and represents the fear that human beings have of FALLING, not only physically, but also metaphorically, socially, culturally, emotionally, psychologically and metaphysically and more... it is in the depths of the human psyche, it is a instinctive and survival fear that we cannot ignore. In fact, without it, humanity simply would not exist, the same with other primordial fears, such as the Darkness.
Also, take a look at how the abilities and powers of the primordial fears evolved along with humanity: For example, the Darkness Devil, when he draws his sword with bells that he wields with telekinesis, you wonder what that has to do with his power, well it is simple: the fear of human beings when being attacked by surprise by anything, especially wild animals with sharp claws and fangs, being attacked by someone who has some sharp and pointed weapon with them: a sword or knife (Ancient Age and also today ) or even a modern weapon such as a firearm (Modern Era), symbolizing thieves, soldiers in ambushes, murderers, kidnappers... everything that is used to attack by surprise and the Falling Devil, as I already said, can alter gravity and alter people's minds and memories that relate to falling, but not just physically, but also psychologically, emotionally, culturally, socially, religiously, symbolically, metaphorically and metaphysically, even worse if you have enough trauma severe enough to destroy you. The great Empires like the Babylonians, the Persians, Greece, Rome or the Byzantine Empire and many more throughout history FELL from their pedestal of power. This is an example of a FALL that does not have to do only with falling from a high place, no one is saved from the imminent fall, one can only try to control fear, but not eliminate it (in fact, eliminating it is a serious mistake, fear is necessary for our survival).
One thing that's been overlooked I think is how a primal fear can freely go back and forth between Hell and reality. Even the Darkness devil manifested part of its "flesh" outside of hell, in order to feed it to Santa Claus. Is this transferring ability innate for primal fears?
Yes! But the difference between primal fears and normal devils? Primal fears manifest in reality with vessels. Falling has taken a vessel made of many different corpses. Darkness transferred its essence to Dolls and made Dolls its vessel. Devils have their own bodies.

@@babaG819 If I understand correctly, it has been 2 years since the first arc, so I bet that Denji probably did look for some way to find the blood devil, and maybe the failure to do so has demotivated him somewhat? That said, I agree with the possibility he might be looking behind the scenes, but also maybe he hasnt had the time to do so while the second arc is taking place. Either way, I miss Power, and I feel for Denji.
I mean the blood devils currently in Hell still. There’s no reason for him to go out searching for it. He’ll just deal with it when she eventually shows up. Let’s be honest here. Powers contract with him wasn’t that well thought out.
One thing that intrigues me is that Falling did not die in order to respawn into the human world. She manifested here either through her own power or someone else's. My theory is that Fami or the Hell devil is involved in her appearing in this world. I'd bet my money on Fami because she is the first one to know that Falling entered this realm.
Honestly, her “healing” feels different. I think primal fears don’t “heal” in the normal way. Fall said that humans literally lack the ability to “kill” her. This may mean instead of healing they just “revert” back to their baseline whenever damaged. Cause she restores herself instantaneously WITHOUT caveat or even a condition.
I don't think primal fears can be erased the chainsaw devil. They are so ingrained into the human psyche, even babies know it would be deadly to fall from any height.

The primal fears have an interest in keeping the status quo and are willing to fulfill their ends of the bargain despite having 0 incentive to do so. Darkness wanted Makima and the Chainsaws heart. Falling wants Yoru and for the denizens of hell to be fed. Remember: Makima wanted a world under her complete control. Yoru wants a world where nuclear weapons and by extension : war run amok. But we also know the endpoint : a great king of Terror descends and guarantees the deaths of 23 people, the other 7 killed by Falling at the start. Falling was sent to stop Yoru from getting nuclear weapons. But all falling is going to accomplish is getting Yoru closer to her destination and causing nuclear weapons to fall on Japan. As another UA-camr said, although he spoke more specifically of the Darkness devil back then, the primordial fears are SO FUCKING POWERFUL, that they aren't even beings, THEY ARE FORCES OF NATURE, almost Evil Gods. And in addition to maintaining their original concept from which they were born and in this case, their memories from thousands of years ago, they evolved with us, for example, the Darkness Devil, he has a sword with bells that he carries with him and that he uses with telekinesis and it symbolizes all the quick, sneaky and surprise attacks that are made in the dark (almost in the safety of it, as they say) or that humans fear that they will happen in the dark: the attack of a wild animal, an ambush of soldiers in the Middle Ages or foot soldiers of a modern army, attacks by thieves, assassins or kidnappers... and always under the veil of night.

When Denji mention how he cut part of his brain to prevent him from reliving his trauma made me felt uneasy because it makes me think he uses similar tactics to cope with his trauma.
regarding Kobeni as the mystery person: I've also seen theories that it could be Kobeni's brother because our Kobeni would've more likely called Denji by his name instead of "Chainsaw Man" as well as the fact that she would be carrying a kitchen knife instead of a sword Yoshida: if this was him, Im not sure why he would be hidden like as if he wasn't already following Denji around this whole part Haruwhatever I don't remember his name either lol: the only argument I have for this is that he wears dark shoes 😅
It's a big question why the residents of hell want Asa and who are they specifically? Only 2 names that I can think so far, it's between Justice devil who fought and beaten by Asa twice or Fami who was setting up the aquarium arc and recently I just thinking that she had connection with Justice devil and Fami is the one who set up the contract for Justice devil to Yuko, even she help to revive them once in her first appearance and for the last is Fami knows when and where the Falling devil would appears and it's around Asa.
I began to imagine Fall as one of those methodical killers from the movies. Aside from her obviously disturbing appearance and the side effects of her presence, she's pretty picky, only taking what she needs and attacking those who attacked her first. My projection is of a person who on the surface is normal and peaceful, but hides several skeletons in the wire, but not out of embarrassment of being discovered, but to not have to deal with the hassle that would be dealing with the backlash. I'm betting the mystery person at the end is someone we already know who isn't Yoshida. Why go to the trouble of hiding his face if it wouldn't make a difference for us to know that he was the one who helped Denji? Another thing, I think, because of the knife, this person has some correlation with demon hunters, as they also use knives to sacrifice blood. Still, it's a superficial detail for now, that just caught my attention.
Devils have to coexist with humans. Yoru want nuclear weapons back only strengthen her most (maybe other horsemen too) and Death. My theory is Death devil are the one seen War to human world but other primal don't want Death plan to success
I believe the person who gave Denji blood was Harumi. It could be Yoshida, but the person who fed Denji called him Chainsawman, not Denji. Yoshida knows his identity, so I don't think he would have called him that given the situation. Also you have to take into account the fact that he overheard Denji and Asa's conversation about the "rules" of Denji's home and how she might die, so it's likely that he's been following the two around to find out more
@@Nicole-kc1vx Also the fact that Fujimoto didn't show us the person confirms its not Yoshida. If it was him, it probably would have showed him. Since we don't see who it is, it's someone that he doesn't want us to know yet, who happened to feed Denji to get him back into the fight. And in conclusion said person may now know things.
I wonder if the person with the knife might be Nayuta. She clearly wants Denji to fight Fall, so maybe she wanted to watch the fight, and intervened when the fighting stopped?
We had a panel where Yoshida talked with Fami who identified a powerful devil coming. So Yoshida has really high chances to be the guy who is supporting Denji, however, it is strange that he is hidden, so it is probably to be not Yoshida but another hunter, maybe their teacher. Yoru is really weak compared to Pochita or Makima. Also Power seems stronger. It is possible that Yoru should had die in the Hell, and so it was selected to be a sacrifice for the coming of a real devil. Denji has no chance against Fall, another duel would be uselless, unless he receive a good help from the hunters. There is a problem that for Lore Denji should had to ERASE Fall when he ate it, but it was immune. So Denji cannot do anything against a primal fear in general.
I would love to see Kishibe return, would be cool to know if the old devil hunters are around and then that could segway into us knowing whether yoshida is with them or not
I think its either tottaly new character or the president there is no point in hiding Yoshida face and i dont think he would stop his date with fami but men things are not looking good for Denji and Asa ;-;
8:53 i dont think it is a sword because swords are accouple feet long so why would someone cut their hand with the end of their sword instead of someone closer to the handle where it would be easier to reach.
Something I wanted to point out was in almost all of the panels that denji is in his intestine is hanging out of his gut. In the 3rd panel of the first page it takes a good amount of the panel. And we all know what happened last time denjis intestine where hanging out of his gut.
didn’t the Falling devil got brought to earth because the residents of hell ordered her too? So she just visits earth because hell requested her. Does that mean that there are more powerful Primordial fears than Darkness Devil that don’t need a ritual to be performed to visit earth? I couldn’t find any sacrificial ritual performed like the one with darkness devil where humans lifes needed to be sacrificed to visit hell, maybe i missed something or wait the many people falling from that apartment block of the railing, but again there was never stated that this was a sacrificial thing going on. It just happend. And what would be the power system of primordial fears if some need a human sacrificial ritual and some don’t, wouldn’t the ones that can visit earth any time be hypothetically stronger than Darkness Devil for instance?
There will be a point where ma man will ran out of words to write the exact same sentence in his titles and he’ll probably be forced to go back to trying to put some effort in them
Nothing happened to her because Denji wasn't 'full' Chainsaw Man, the form that can actually erase a Devil from reality. The one we saw during that first fight with Makima. From my understanding that's the form that actually lives up to the claimed ability. Either that or Falling is just *too* powerful for him to actually eliminate. Which, if it was going to happen with some type of Devil, a Primal Fear would be the one.
-that is trying to rebuild hierarchy in hell, and throw off current ruler? What if primals hate horsemen BCS they re under the lead of a devil that wants to overthrow primals' leader?

My projection is of a person who on the surface is normal and peaceful, but hides several skeletons in the wire, but not out of embarrassment of being discovered, but to not have to deal with the hassle that would be dealing with the backlash.
I'm betting the mystery person at the end is someone we already know who isn't Yoshida. Why go to the trouble of hiding his face if it wouldn't make a difference for us to know that he was the one who helped Denji? Another thing, I think, because of the knife, this person has some correlation with demon hunters, as they also use knives to sacrifice blood. Still, it's a superficial detail for now, that just caught my attention.
this chapter came today bruh how ya'll making vids already
No lol, the vid was posted exactly 24 hours after the chapter came out.
@@Cloud_of_reverie oh- my bad lol
Makes sense if the primal fears have their own realm or “hell” ..similar to how characters like Mephisto from marvel who has his own realm within hell
Sick thumbnail man
Ahh… the og bg music
Devils have to coexist with humans. Yoru want nuclear weapons back only strengthen her most (maybe other horsemen too) and Death.
My theory is Death devil are the one seen War to human world but other primal don't want Death plan to success
Has there been a devil having a child with a human as far as we know?
I think it's Haurka, although I wouldn't be surprised if it's Yoshida either.
the thumbnail reminds me of ultrakill
I believe the person who gave Denji blood was Harumi. It could be Yoshida, but the person who fed Denji called him Chainsawman, not Denji. Yoshida knows his identity, so I don't think he would have called him that given the situation. Also you have to take into account the fact that he overheard Denji and Asa's conversation about the "rules" of Denji's home and how she might die, so it's likely that he's been following the two around to find out more
That's can definitely be the case, considering he has been stalking Denji and Asa since the aquarium situation.
Yoshida made it clear he won’t let Denji reveal his identity. So he’s not going to call him Denji when he’s in chainsaw mode.
Does sufferents talk about the Nostradamus prophecy more thuroughly in another video?
Aye let's fricking go kobeni lives
someone pointed out kobeni’s car in a panel. i like the curveball option
I wonder if the person with the knife might be Nayuta. She clearly wants Denji to fight Fall, so maybe she wanted to watch the fight, and intervened when the fighting stopped?
I feel like Denji is much weaker than I expected him to be.
Doing Hero things made him way more weaker i guess..
There is another hyrbird the swords teenager that was with the rest of hybrids at the end fight in part 1
Did he not erase her because he wasn’t actually the chainsaw devil at that point? Just his fiend form?
The biggest clue to who the person is is the sword. Maybe Aki or even Katanaman
Mystery person could be Madoka or Himeno's sister.
I would love to see Kishibe return, would be cool to know if the old devil hunters are around and then that could segway into us knowing whether yoshida is with them or not
Kishibe as the feet guy
Me from now on, I am going to deal with depression and anxiety, the Denji way!
Fall is a corn dog!
Also would you say she’s waifu material?
at least i know im not the only one who thought it was kobeni that shows up
I think its either tottaly new character or the president there is no point in hiding Yoshida face and i dont think he would stop his date with fami but men things are not looking good for Denji and Asa ;-;
8:53 i dont think it is a sword because swords are accouple feet long so why would someone cut their hand with the end of their sword instead of someone closer to the handle where it would be easier to reach.
it's the chicken who order to kill her
Thought I clicked on a persona 3 vid
I have fallen for Fallin devil also she's probably the thickest CSM character 🗿
Given what an anxious mess Kobeni is she'd fly up to hell from trauma at 99% the speed of light.
Kobeni has a contract with the falling devil
Kobeni resigned after the battle with the Darkness Devil, it'd be unexpected for her to be back now
Is no one gonna mention the fact that kobenis car is in the background? I think it’s kobeni
Something I wanted to point out was in almost all of the panels that denji is in his intestine is hanging out of his gut. In the 3rd panel of the first page it takes a good amount of the panel. And we all know what happened last time denjis intestine where hanging out of his gut.
That’s just because he spent most of the fight being split in 2.
His Chainsaw Devil transformation has his intestines wrapping around his neck.
When is the next chapter a week or two
Damn i think he feels not sure tho🤔
didn’t the Falling devil got brought to earth because the residents of hell ordered her too? So she just visits earth because hell requested her. Does that mean that there are more powerful Primordial fears than Darkness Devil that don’t need a ritual to be performed to visit earth? I couldn’t find any sacrificial ritual performed like the one with darkness devil where humans lifes needed to be sacrificed to visit hell, maybe i missed something or wait the many people falling from that apartment block of the railing, but again there was never stated that this was a sacrificial thing going on. It just happend. And what would be the power system of primordial fears if some need a human sacrificial ritual and some don’t, wouldn’t the ones that can visit earth any time be hypothetically stronger than Darkness Devil for instance?
i wonder if nayuta will intervene
There will be a point where ma man will ran out of words to write the exact same sentence in his titles and he’ll probably be forced to go back to trying to put some effort in them
So just a quick question, why do you think nothing happened when Denji ate the falling devil? I thought something might have actually happened to her.
I was just thinking the same thing, I think it’s a display of the power of primal fear
Well she had a 5-star experience so there's that
Because he’s not Chainsaw Man, he’s just a chainsaw man
@@StillEternity2 fair enough, that makes sense.
Bro says something feels off literally every chapter
What if it turns out , the octupus devil guy is actually the real devil, like Satan and is just watching the show, or some devil that i
-that is trying to rebuild hierarchy in hell, and throw off current ruler?
What if primals hate horsemen BCS they re under the lead of a devil that wants to overthrow primals' leader?
Corndogs thou denji 😅😂
Hi
It would be nice if it's a new character
wait...if Fall takes Denji to hell..does that..or could taht mean, we will see the blood devil?
I think there will be heaven also in chainsaws universe
