  • Today I bring you The 53 Sutras of Sidarta Gautama Buddha. The 53 Sutras of Sidarta Gautama Buddha are phrases or affirmations with an essential base, which are intrinsically linked to a truth that will be revealed through subsequent reflection.
They are not sentences to memorize, they are ideas and concepts to be developed and internalized, so that they can be adapted to our day to day.
In their time, which is calculated around the year 500 BC, they were a tool through which the messages and truths that the enlightened wanted to leave to their followers or descendants were transmitted. In those times, books did not exist, so cultural transmission depended on word of mouth. This required that the statements, the Sutras, be short, clear, concise, and very generic.
Gautama Buddha left us 53 Sutras in his work Dhammapada, which together constitute his entire doctrine.
Each of the Sutras should be carefully read and some thought should be given to their content.
Almost all sutras are indeed encrypted, so that whatever truths they may contain are not shown directly, but have to be dismembered and discovered through your deep understanding.
The Guardian of Words creates audio-books, documentaries and short videos about stories, legends, mysteries and adventures of all humanity and throughout time.
All videos (audiobooks) are with real voice.
We will talk about religion, literature, philosophy, even at some point about the occult, always with a real human voice.
As a historian and documentary filmmaker, I always act as an impartial witness and not as part of the argument. Nor do I have to agree with the opinions and/or stories presented on the channel.
