If Spielberg came back to direct, I don’t think Disney would have interfered as much, he is one of the few directors who can get away with what he wants. The movie would have also been different I think.
$$$$$$$ that’s all he cares about script is crap don’t care Spielberg not directing don’t care as long as I get a 20 million dollar check that’s all that matters😢he’s the definition of a sell out who will do anything for a buck
"Forget the past, kill it if you have to." - Kylo Ren. Disney's fatal flaw is ignoring what the fans want and thinking this is how they make NEW fans. It didn't work for Star Wars and it doesn't work for Indiana Jones. Hopefully this is the final straw that gets KK the boot.
I genuinely prefer KotCS. At least Indy felt like Indy in that film. Still enthusiastic about old relics and adventurous. All of his character was sucked out of him in DoD in favour of the majorly detestable Helena. I’m not sure why Disney has this obsession with tearing down beloved characters (refer to The Last Jedi) but it has to stop.
I've now clocked up about 140 minutes of UA-cam reviews for this film. I've put my time in here, so I'll never have to watch it. Although I am tempted to watch the first 15 minutes. That sequence seems to be getting some praise. I won't watch cultural vandalism anymore. I learned my lesson with the Matrix. There is one Matrix film and three Indy films. Also I think it runs a lot deeper than culture war/woke stuff. I mean that's what's going to irritate or attract people to this, but the malaise is apolitical. Look at what they did with Game of Thrones. Not a hint of indentity politics, just a production that lost its soul.
Indeed. Personally, I think a positive moral lesson is a good thing in a story, and people are kidding themselves if they think films never used to have any underlying message. My only question is: why are the stories now so BAD? The films, TV shows, whatever else... why do they have to be so AWFUL?
Well that means it's time for you to bite the bullet and see for yourself if it lives up to the hype. How bad can it be when you spend $300 million with a proven director like James Mangold throw in time travel and it should be a slam dunk.
@@jonfreeman9682 your sarcasm is just about coming through. But just no. There are very few films that mean anything to me and I refuse to damage my fond memories of this character by watching it. Critical drinker and other scathing reviews complete with "spoilers" are far more entertaining.
Kathleenfilm may try to destroy characters like Indiana, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, however what they can't do is destroy the movies that made these males popular
I don't know why studios feel the need to shat all over the iconic heroes of the past, must less replace them with intolerable characters like PWB. It seems to me that every project since D bought Lucasfilm has had one of these Kathleen Kennedy "idealized" characters in it and they haven't got they no one likes her or these movies yet? Now that is thick headed....
well th problem i see is that they say oh this has a man as a main chacter lets make him look weak or make the film awful. another example of kk would be star wars episode 8 being the worst imo. i liked 1-6 way better than 7 8 or 9.
At 80, there's only one thing left for Ford to do: Run for president! Thank you for seeing this colossal waste of time so we don't have to. I don't know whether I'd prefer to have cancer or Phoebe Wallerbridge, but it's close, in any case. At least some cancers can be cured.
I never saw Indiana Jones as a kid but know how terrible it feels to have a childhood hero butchered on the big screen; “The Predator”, Venom: Let there be Carnage, and Halloween Ends. But it sounds like Dial of Destiny disrespected the source material to an even greater degree
@@kaykutcher2103 oh please just because Elsa was with Indy and his father doesn't make that sleeping around, the only reason why Elsa was with Indy and his father is because they both had the Grail information, or odds are she wouldn't have been with either of them, it's just two people don't see Elsa with another man in the movie. You just have to make a big deal about it because it's Indiana Jones and the father, I would say if she slept around she would be with other men other than Indiana Jones and his father, it seems like she only stuck to them she just has a thing for Father and son that's not sleeping around. Would of been quite the adventure had Indiana Jones 5 return to its TRUE roots. Bringing everything and everyone from the ORIGINAL Trilogy legacy characters [ Marcus Brody-Henry Jones Sr. - Mutt Williams] withstanding for obvious reasons.. The Adventure should have come definitely " full circle " Leaving Basil and Helena at home and fictional Tangiers Just a thought 🤠 It would have been potentially an awesome opportunity to for Indiana Jones and Marion to have one Last Adventure- TOGETHER 😢 * 1980s Fanboy *
I don't get why a lot of people are hating on this film, so I looked it up on Google, and a big reason why a lot of people didn't like this movie, based off of the Google reviews and reasons, is because a lot of people don't know the Indiana Jones lore. They didn't grow up watching this, they didn't read the books, or watch the previous four films, or the TV episodes that were released from 1990-1994. So a lot of the modern, younger audience who wanted to go into this film without really knowing any of the previous background ... yeah, it would make sense why they wouldn't like it. Because they wouldn't know anything about it! As for me, I grew up with all of those. The TV show, the books, the original four movies; Raiders of the Lost Ark, Temple of Doom, The Last Crusade, even Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. No matter how bad KOTCS was, it sets up the reason for Marion to not be in this film hardly, and why Shia Lebouf's character doesn't show up. It's because his son died in the Vietnam War and his wife couldn't handle the loss, and couldn't handle Harrison having to be strong for both of them, that it drew a wedge between them. I know people in real life that this has happened to. The death of a married couple's child could inevitably cause a divide between parents if one feels like the other isn't grieving as much as they are. Even if they are grieving on the inside while still trying to be strong on the outside. That's basically how it was interpreted. But yes. Definitely yes. This movie was amazing and finished off Indy's journey beautifully. For those that know the Indiana Jones lore, rather than just going into it blind or watching one or two of the other movies. This movie was meant for fans. Hardcore Indiana Jones fans. If you are one, like me, then you will love it! If you aren't, and don't know a lot about Indiana Jones, then..wellll....you might not feel the same way. But I would encourage you to read the books, watch the TV shows, watch the movies. You will see this movie in a whole new light. I guarantee it! It will be like night and day for you.
It was ok. The internet is overblowing things out of proportion the best part really were the first 20 Minutes. Helena was abysmal however. No character development whatsoever, a narcissist and plainly a remorseless asshole, didn’t even show respect to the guy who died after helping her retrieve the Graficus. It’s worse than crystal skull. And what was another bad thing about the film it didn’t feel like Indiana Jones. It literally felt I was watching another type of movie in the middle of the film. The only good thing they portrayed is Indy being old and worn down from all his adventures. That’s a thing I liked However Mangold killed off Mutt to have Helena (he literally said it) and while mutt wasn’t the best character it’s a disgrace that he got replaced by a jerk. Overall I have seen way way worse movies and endings to franchises. So it is okay. Nothing great but nothing terrible either.
Props to the director on this one as you said. He was able to polish some of the turd characters and writing enough to make it fun. Unfortunately another movie that could have been great, destined for the dust bin.
If you're asking "who's this movie for?". I have a group of friends and one of them said "I wanna see Indiana Jones 5! I wanna see an old man fighting because is funny and also I can finally see a strong woman". Here's the answer...
Excellent analysis of why this film is so terrible. So many things kneecap this film throughout, but what kills it, shoots this film in the head is the god awful, fully unlikable character of Helena Shaw. Her character is absolutely unbearable!
Your clickbait technique (along with many others) has worked. The "reviews' from channels like this killed any box office momentum the film may have had. I've seen it twice since it's release. It is NOT a perfect film. But its a very good one. I was shocked by how WRONG critics (youtubers)were about Helena. She's not what I expected from Disney in 2023. She's flawed. She's greedy. She lacks morals at times. I was expecting her to be an overly woke, super obnoxious character. She's not. I give Indy 5 a solid 3.5/5.
I gotta be honest, I didn’t like it. 1. It was too long. 2. Helena is EXTREMELY unlikeable. 3. Indy is now a broken down drunk old man who basically has a death wish which just made everything depressing. 4. After a while, I just got bored. There’s only so many action sequences you can get into until you realize that you weren’t feeling any danger and you were just watching the somewhat, (in some scenes) questionable visuals. 6. Too much CGI. A few times the de-ageing seemed off plus why spend $300 million USD when you still have a 40 year old Harrison Ford STILL sound like 80 year old Harrison Ford?! You couldn’t hire the best impersonator money can buy??? In the tuk-tuk chase, you can clearly tell it’s CGI when Indy and Helena are bickering. You can see it’s CGI a few times when Indy is on the horse, especially on the two or three close-ups of Indy’s face upwards. You can easily see that it’s a CGI background, which takes us out of the immersion. 7. Teddy is a Great Value version of Short Round, but isn’t as likable or cute. He’s almost like a younger Helena, which is awful. (I could barely stand one!) 8. The best sequence is the prologue on the train, after in 1969, it quickly becomes such a slog. 9. What happens at the end with Indy and Helena annoyed me. (She spent the entire time being so ageist and annoying that for me, I was like, “Okay, we still got 15 minutes to go, I think I’m going to dose off a little.” Because at this point, I just didn’t care anymore and I just wanted to have it be over with! 9. Was Indy ever cleared??? 10. I’m sorry but Crystal Skull is better than this imo. I enjoyed it better. Looking back, Mutt and aliens don’t look as bad anymore. (They did him dirty btw.) 11. It only made $24 million USD only for Thursday preview and Friday debut. Against a $300 million budget, this is god awful news. It seems(like this movie), it’s a long and far journey to even BREAKING even! There’s no way it’s reaching the heights of $800 million USD plus! 12. Why was this necessary?! Everything goes basically back to depressing reality minus one thing by the end! I’d rather have just had Crustal Skull’s happy ending if we needed a semi recent Indy movie, just leave it at that! And 13. Why couldn’t they have brought Short Round back? He himself saw Indy as his own father figure. He could have become an archaeologist himself and reaches out to Indy, (who is happily still with Marion and who is now thriving and president of his university and who has become wealthy and semi famous after writing several books about his adventures that which would evolve into the young Indiana Jones Chronicles ) to help him on a mission and the movie goes with them instead of Helena. Plus Mutt and Indy are on good terms now, with Mutt being much maturer and wiser after all this time. Perhaps he joins too? SR and Indy can have a really touching moment somewhere in the movie too. I started thinking about it throughout the movie. Just on what could have been. God what a disappointment!
The first Indy film was over 40 years ago, today there are to many people with different opinions...(but your not allowed to have an opinion these days) and views. Peoples criticisms have to fall in to a certain criteria other wise you get the cancel wet wipe wokeist wankers on your case. Unless a film a film has a rainbow, hard talking feminist, trans, black character it will be a flop..! i dread to think what the world will be like in another 40 years time it's scary to surmise.
I know enough about the movie to know I don't want to see it. I was interested in the first 20 minutes alone so I watched a pretty bad cam copy, and that is all I wanted to see. It was okay. The old man voice on a young face was jarring. I stuck around for the first two minutes. Just enough to see a half naked old man screaming at Kids to turn their Beatles music down and all I felt was sad. All I could think was "What have you done to the coolest character in the world" A character that was a childhood hero of mine. Sometimes I hate 2023.
I saw the cam version online and it’s toxic as hell with the female character I literally I at some point wished the girl would be shot and killed off so the story can move on
Oh well, Indy had 3.5/5 decent films (though Crystal Skulls only gets 0.5 in hindsight, after comparing it with Bowl of Dysentery). At least Kennedy is out of franchises to cock up.
LENGTH ALERT!!! Of my review not the movie 😎 Thank you for reading it all if you do at all!!! 🍾🍾🍾 Real life human being here... hello St. Louis! 🍾🍾🍾🤘🤘🤘 I saw the first available slot that matched my sleep schedule 😁 watched all the movies the week leading up to it multiple times, and even played Emperor's Tomb on 360 😅 As a fan its always the most fun for me seeing him navigate death traps and figure out how to get his artifacts out safely, plus fighting the Nazis is never bad, along with any WWII themed action... ALWAYS AWESOME. The first 15min was awesome eventhough some of the CGI was off a little and obviously noticeable, but I would've taken another hr of it regardless cause it had: Indy, action, Nazis, near death escapes, simple... give us what we want, character is practically handed on a silver platter... For the rest of the movie overall I would say well done as far as plot, destinations, etc... Characters... I have nothing against women tearing it up and kicking butt, it's super attractive when it's in good taste. COMPLETELY MY OPINION HERE Helena was a confusing character for me and was a distraction from Indy and stole alot of scenes, and not in a good way. She seemed like she was very mean to Indy, and I could never grasp what her motives or character arc was the entire movie cause she morphed into different fembots every time they went somewhere else... like who tf are you still, why you gotta be so mean to Indy, and is this Indiana Jones and the Escape from the Nursing home??? Like grandpa is along for our ride and getting in the way. Indy STILL kicked @$$ cause he is Indy and Harrison Ford IS Indy so boom to yo face Helena, and then literally one spoiler she uno reverses and booms to his face. Speaking of faces how did Mads HAVE a face after taking that whatever metal thing it was directly ON his face at 60+mph and getting thrown from a train??? Other gripe.. completely my OPINION 😅, but one thing I would've enjoyed were more establishing shots and wider perspective shots of where tf we are, and wtf is actually going... Spielberg always has great context with his films that make it easy for the dialogue to be enjoyed and understood and fun.. I felt like I was a pocket watch in grandpa Indy's jacket getting tossed around with a pocket's view half the time cause there were SO MANY CLOSEUPS... I'm still trying to figure out half of what is going on and gain bearings and can't cause you never get to enjoy and get an easier perspective of where you are, then end up spending brain power calculating wtf is actually happening. Or maybe I suck at watching movies these days 😁👉 HOWEVER WITH ALL THAT SAID... As an Indy fan BEACUSE OF being a Harrison Ford fan, it was one of his best performances as an actor I've ever enjoyed seeing him in. If you take it as a movie about the depth that Indy is capable of and want to see Harrison Ford give you the feels than this movie does it... I was almost tearing up at the end, for real, cause I love HF. And for me HF and Indy are like the Beatles of movies 😅 Gimme Harrison Ford, Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, and Jean Claude Van Damme and there's my Beatles action stars 😎😅, so I'll watch anything they're in if they liked it and you can see they had fun making it, or that's what I'm telling myself. So everyone will have their version of what they want for Indy. Emotionally it was a deep movie for Harrison and Indy, and for me the younger characters were always changing their personality to fit the scene and it was hard to be invested in them. It was a pretty good Indy movie, Harrison Ford gave one of his BEST performances for me personally, and I can definitely see where it would've been better for me and what I would've done or wanted to see differently, but that's life and art period. If you love Indy and Harrison Ford I think you'll enjoy it regardless and forgive the other obvious contrasts cause it's Indiana mfing Jones 🤘🍾🍾🍾😎 Overall Indy got his "historic" moment that was well deserved and Harrison Ford played it beautifully. There is my $0.02 😎😁🤘🍾
Man UA-camrs have NOT been accurate lately, between this movie and elemental. People love to hop on the bandwagon of video essays instead of forming their own opinion. Gotta love 2023 🤣 Correction** When have they ever been?
Pixar and LucasFilms are huge billion dollar studios. Pixar animated movies usually rake in the money. Indiana Jones is a beloved franchise. Elemental and Dial of Destiny both flopped. Elemental has the 22nd lowest professional critic score for all Pixar films. Elemental has a 76% and Dial has a 68%. Your opinion is as tough as soft serve ice cream in the hot desert sun.
Over a few pre-Christmas pints back in December 2022, I opined that whereas (future) historians will refer to 2022 as the "Year of Stupid", 2023 will be referred to as "The Year of Shambles", because so many companies/organisations/individual projects/'special' initiatives/economic systems/infrastructures etc. will fail. "Nah, it'll be fine" was the kinda typical response. Well, looks like Dismals(tm) "Indiana Jones and the Dildo of Dumb" has done its little bit to prove me right......... DAMMIT!
Disney, radical feminist, Black Rock can all celebrate their accomplishments today. They destroyed another male icon screen idol. No loss to them. That's excatly what they wanted. James Bond, Hans Solo, Indiana Jones all gone, thanks to this crew. Wont be seeing you at the movies.
This film was an excellent deconstruction of a childhood hero. Harrison Ford transcends the character and delivers a subtle and human performance which addresses alcoholism, aging and loss. FWG’s character is a morally ambiguous thief. The ending shows Indy as triumphant, conquering his demons. The film isn’t perfect but I really enjoyed it. 🤷♀️
I liked it. It was a fun movie. It was entertaining, which is what I look for in a movie. I don't think so much needs to be read into the God daughter's character. My understanding is the arc of showing Indy dealing with age is something that Harrison wanted to do. It seems like if they stayed to close to the original formula people would complain it lacked originality....if they went too far away from it, then people would complain that characters are not true to the franchise. It would be great if people would just relax in the theater with some popcorn and enjoy watching a movie instead of focusing on how some part of it didnt meet their expectations and complaining or trying to monetize their complaints.
I mean I got mixed feelings about it when I saw it last night it just left me baffled and confused I mean It wasent bad but there was a lot missing when’s the whip swings where’s Indy’s gun Weres his holster it just doesent make sense the only guns he using is the ones his picked up like the Luger in a flashback and a Walter in the film it makes no sense also weres the the year credits in the beginning like Germany 1939 or New York 1969 y’all see what mean they did a lot of things wrong but I don’t see how it’s fresh on rotten tomatoes but it’s understandable Harrison Ford wanted one last hoorah as the character he played best and shot him into Hollywood stardom I understand but by this time Indy is retiring and this would be his final adventure so with that being said it was a hell of a ride Dr Jones and this franchise was the spark that ignited my interest in history I wouldn’t like history today if it wasn’t for this franchise, and as Sean Connery said in last crusade got lost in his own museum huh and Harrison Ford says shakes his head and says uh huh after you Jr and they ride off into the sunset. Thank you Indiana Jones for my childhood it was a hell a journey.
Indy what has happened ??? Seeing the film tomorrow . Please don't let me walk out. Either he dies, or goes back in time to save Western culture The Posh English lass goes back in time - to the stone age , And gets lost......designing the cart and square wheels. Indy would have his time cut out, stopping rampart feminists get eaten by Bears and Lions . The feminists would be glad of Indy . He would design round wheels allowing the cart to get away in the last scene. I would go and see it. If only the posh English girl stayed in the stone age........
I have no interest in seeing a Indiana Jones movie that nobody asked for and virtually no one cares about , So carry on destroying beloved franchises Disney but I'll stick with the original trilogy because their great and even the crystal skull because at least its watchable,
ROTLA, TOD, and TLC were perfect. And if it ain't broke, don't fix it. No one needed or even wanted this horrible 5th film. Even the terrible 4th one was better.

Harrison Ford lost his mojo. That is the only thing that mattered to us. Reminds me of Austin powers. Why did they not pass the baton? Yeah, Dial of Destiny was alright. The first 20 minutes was great! It made me feel like a child again, at least for a short time. And for that, I'm most thankful. Having rewatched Kingdom of the Crystal Skull again recently, I really enjoyed that. I actually think it's better than The Last Crusade. But none of the Indiana Jones sequels come close to Raiders of the Lost Ark, which is an undisputed cinematic masterpiece. Peace & love, all!
The funny thing about Raiders is Indy is literally knocked around like a rag doll. Yeah, it's in the end that truly counts for the main hero. What I find funny is the one Indiana Jones film that shows him in real control and not being knocked around by almost everyone and everything is Temple of Doom... and that seems to be the unpopular one for a lot.
First,, I mean no disrespect to Phoebe Waller - Bridge, I think she's fine as an actor, and to take this role is a one in a billion opportunity for an actor, and don't blame her for taking the part. I'd of done it too. Her character was what ruined the movie, not her fault, it was the writers( or what Disney makes the writers do ) The plot to me was solid, and one of the only ways I could think of to bring back his best adversary for his age, the Nazi's. It makes since at his age too that he has lost people he cared about, and is tired. I think it's even clever at his age that he got dragged on another adventure because of the stakes. Even though if he would of stayed home, his goddaughter would of made a lot of money and solved her debt issues, the Nazi's would have gotten the dial from whomever had it, and they still would of miscalculated, and those Nazi's would have wound up dying in the far far past anyways. Being passive would of solved all his problems. The first 25 minutes was also fun. Disney breaks everything when they write women. My problem is her character was a sociopath, straight up. I never had a telephone scam artist call me, and I tell him, "You know what, you're a likable guy, and I think people like you are heroes" This is what Disney wants us to do with this character. She lied to him to manipulate him, stole from him, and then, left him to die...for money. So every time she saved him, it was like the fridge / nuke scene from Crystal. I had to suspend disbelief, and it wasn't because she was a women and I have some belief that she is uncapable( I even believed Indy was incapable of surviving some of the things he did ), it's because I didn't see why she would bother with it. Her character would of made more sense as a family related adversary, or, at the least, her character would of worked better if she hadn't left him to die. I can see a guy that runs an online scam site, or does telemarketing scams liking her character, but he will even still hate her in the end when he watches her waste her time, endangering herself saving that useless old man, and not out finding a softer target to squeeze money out of.
The land whales with daddy issues have a meltdown anytime a guy tells em to make em a sandwich, gotta love subway though only place where you can tell a woman to make you a sandwich and they can’t tell you to f()ck off 😂
The god daughter character is the villain of the movie not the Nazis.

If Spielberg came back to direct, I don’t think Disney would have interfered as much, he is one of the few directors who can get away with what he wants. The movie would have also been different I think.
True
I'm starting to blame Harrison Ford on this. Why would he help ruin a great character to help push woke garbage?

Harrison Ford probably feels like Mark Hamil did after Last Jedi
"Forget the past, kill it if you have to." - Kylo Ren. Disney's fatal flaw is ignoring what the fans want and thinking this is how they make NEW fans. It didn't work for Star Wars and it doesn't work for Indiana Jones. Hopefully this is the final straw that gets KK the boot.
The amount of distain for this film online.. is nearing Last Jedis level of infamy
Must admit...after watching Dial last night..I much preferred Crystal Skull...

That was pretty good actually as a comedy romance. But Crystal 💀 wasn't bad.
I wished they would've made a whole movie on Young Indy with River Phoenix. He was so good at playing Indy. And talented. No more talent at all.
If you were to do some kind of rekindling of the franchise that would be the only way.
Too bad he OD'd at such a young age.
1-4 are good cause Spielberg and Lucas directed and produced. DISNEY took over and it went to shit. Plain and simple.
The movie world has gone to shit......😢
At 80, there's only one thing left for Ford to do: Run for president! Thank you for seeing this colossal waste of time so we don't have to. I don't know whether I'd prefer to have cancer or Phoebe Wallerbridge, but it's close, in any case. At least some cancers can be cured.
I never saw Indiana Jones as a kid but know how terrible it feels to have a childhood hero butchered on the big screen; “The Predator”, Venom: Let there be Carnage, and Halloween Ends.
But it sounds like Dial of Destiny disrespected the source material to an even greater degree
Anything beyond the Last Crusade is irrelevant 😏
I wouldn't be surprised if she was Elsa's child or something.
That's where my mind went after hearing she's sleeping around to get what she wants.
And this Helena being man crazy is a bunch of nonsense in a crappy movie, yet people like you taken seriously haha 😂
@@dorisbove2210 Glad we agree Elsa sleeps with whomever to get the info she wants. The issue with Helena is that in Elsa's case it was part of her job to do whatever it took as a spy and plot relevance tops lol ain't she something else in my book. Using people for your own personal need and then disregarding them isn't quirky or endearing and presenting it as such doesn't sit well with me.
Elsa died at the end of the Crusade, she didn't have Children.
Wait, why wouldn't they have made this character Marcus Brody's daughter?
Personally I like it. The original and The Last Crusade are better, but this is quite entertaining.
I've watched it like four times in about a week.
🥶
My grandma told me not to believe what I watched in the 80s, PWB is the real Indiana Jones.
I saw chai komanduri on the ari melber show say that he wants women, blacks and lgbt characters to replace white men in movies as if this is an age of aquarius where only "the message" is allowed- no hint of an interesting story
The Adventure should have come definitely " full circle "
Leaving Basil and Helena at home and fictional Tangiers
Just a thought 🤠
It would have been potentially an awesome opportunity to for Indiana Jones and Marion to have one Last Adventure- TOGETHER 😢

Bro really planned this out 💀
There is so much Dial of Destiny is going to fail clickbait I bet it turns successful
I'm not betting on anything. I'll see the results when the dust clears, good or bad.
It was ok. The internet is overblowing things out of proportion the best part really were the first 20
Minutes.
That’s a thing I liked
However Mangold killed off Mutt to have Helena (he literally said it) and while mutt wasn’t the best character it’s a disgrace that he got replaced by a jerk.
Overall I have seen way way worse movies and endings to franchises. So it is okay. Nothing great but nothing terrible either.
So realistic
Props to the director on this one as you said. He was able to polish some of the turd characters and writing enough to make it fun. Unfortunately another movie that could have been great, destined for the dust bin.
The "Doil of Distiny"!
To me The Last Crusade was the last Indiana Jones movie. The movies after are non-canon
Crystal Skull's looking pretty good right now.
So Kathleen Kennedy, what's the next movie you'd like to insert yourself into.

I saw the first available slot that matched my sleep schedule 😁 watched all the movies the week leading up to it multiple times, and even played Emperor's Tomb on 360 😅
As a fan its always the most fun for me seeing him navigate death traps and figure out how to get his artifacts out safely, plus fighting the Nazis is never bad, along with any WWII themed action...
COMPLETELY MY OPINION HERE
Helena was a confusing character for me and was a distraction from Indy and stole alot of scenes, and not in a good way.
Or maybe I suck at watching movies these days 😁👉
HOWEVER WITH ALL THAT SAID...
If you love Indy and Harrison Ford I think you'll enjoy it regardless and forgive the other obvious contrasts cause it's Indiana mfing Jones 🤘🍾🍾🍾😎
Overall Indy got his "historic" moment that was well deserved and Harrison Ford played it beautifully.
There is my $0.02 😎😁🤘🍾

What movie did you watch?
Every copy of this movie needs to be tracked down and burnt in the flames of the temple of doom itself!

I mean I got mixed feelings about it when I saw it last night it just left me baffled and confused I mean It wasent bad but there was a lot missing when’s the whip swings where’s Indy’s gun Weres his holster it just doesent make sense the only guns he using is the ones his picked up like the Luger in a flashback and a Walter in the film it makes no sense also weres the the year credits in the beginning like Germany 1939 or New York 1969 y’all see what mean they did a lot of things wrong but I don’t see how it’s fresh on rotten tomatoes but it’s understandable Harrison Ford wanted one last hoorah as the character he played best and shot him into Hollywood stardom I understand but by this time Indy is retiring and this would be his final adventure so with that being said it was a hell of a ride Dr Jones and this franchise was the spark that ignited my interest in history I wouldn’t like history today if it wasn’t for this franchise, and as Sean Connery said
in last crusade got lost in his own museum huh and Harrison Ford says shakes his head and says uh huh after you Jr and they ride off into the sunset. Thank you Indiana Jones for my childhood it was a hell a journey.

The Posh English lass goes back in time - to the stone age ,
And gets lost......designing the cart and square wheels.
Indy would have his time cut out, stopping rampart feminists get eaten by Bears and Lions .
The feminists would be glad of Indy .
He would design round wheels allowing the cart to get away in the last scene.
I would go and see it.
If only the posh English girl stayed in the stone age........
This was the best movie in the series, better even than MI7 or Dune part 2 will be … even better than Fast X !!!

There are plenty of good reviews on IMDb in the theater is full every showing that… Are the reviewers just being assholes?
Harrison Ford lost his mojo. That is the only thing that mattered to us. Reminds me of Austin powers. Why did they not pass the baton? Does a new character need to be built on the destruction of another. I still don’t understand why indie was even in this film. You are too old or your not.
I was hoping. I think they wasted their chance.

I enjoyed the movie. Long time fan of Indy here. I liked Helena, Teddy, Voller. So nice Sallah returned. Cool action scenes, interesting MacGuffin, visuals. Also nods to the past were nixe. I would watch it again. :)
Let's hope that your employer - Disney - gives you time off to go to the cinema again.
@@ArtistFormerlyKnownAsShitlord It is so unreal that you can have a fan of the series of the Indy that enjoyed this flick? But I wish I had more day offs to watch movies. :)
@@ArtistFormerlyKnownAsShitlord Your joke doesn't really work. If he's paid to see the movie, why would Disney need to give them time off to see the movies. They literally just said they went to the movie.
I thought that was “Lia” Thomas…….
WRONG
used to be a man who bedded women was old days james bond
Just another Disney cash grab
