When you showed the "attack mode" function, I got excited like a child again. That is so cool. Also, I don't know why "gappiness" in Technic sets is a con for some people. It makes me wonder if people actually like Bionicle at all, since "gappiness" is such a defining factor in generation 1 Bionicle.

That is a completely useless canonization for a character that has never shown up in any story material. You have only made it harder for newcomers to get into the theme. If anything it gives people a reason to get Perditus as a set because now he's at least relevant to SOMETHING for once.

Since we don't have the story to follow any more, I don't think it's bad to have lore like this added now, since it's fairly harmless (kids who would have fallen off of G1's story would have done so way before the Velika twist) and helps give the fans who care about the story a bit more info to chew on. I think it's pretty neat because I always wanted a reason to care the tiniest bit about Perditus, seeing as I own him.

I believe the open axels on the skyblasters are so they can be taken off and held by Proditus, the open pins under the driving handles are likely to support the handles when you mount the drivers arms (though they could have used a liftarm, all and all, the open axles could have likely been replaced, but overall, I love the set, probably my second fav vehicle from 09 besides Baranus (idk, I just love the idea of a chariot, and the orange and lime/hunter green is striking to me)

the first of these vehicles i owned was the vultraz, it was soured by the pilot crumbling within a few weeks and the trouble i had building it. a few years later i rounded up the majority of the parts for an axalara t9 however the parts i didn't have were never ordered and i had to make do with some yellow thrown into the color scheme which looked pretty good making up the spine of the central arm . improvisations, lack of parts, delays and the lack of a pilot really ruined the experience for me, i had to make do with a shagged pohatu or a kopaka mask on matoro mahri body because i was being cheap, fast forward to the present and i had used some vultraz parts to rearrange the outrigger armor and make it not so ugly, but then my siblings managed to shatter the technic pinwheel part 44374 and all function was lost it now sits on a shelf shunned by disappointment
He's not the only one, Gelu didn't show up in TLR either, and he's canon. That being said, while Perditus IS CANON in the story, he never did show up in any official story media.
These recent vehicle sets look cool, but they don't really seem that special story wise. Maybe I didn't follow the 2009 story well enough though (I do have the movie, but that's about all I know about the 2009 story).

In my opinion the Jetrax T6 is far better than this one because I think that aircraft have more play value but let's be honest; the Axalara T9 crushes them both :P
