A great legend that we lost last Saturday, he was 99 years old and he was most iconic game show host ever after all these years. Godspeed Bob Barker, you will be missed and we love you.
These classic video clips is now dedicated to the 40th season of CBS Daytime's longest running game show: THE PRICE IS RIGHT, which is originally premiered on September 4th, 1972. The original daytime host was Bob Barker, and the original nighttime hosts were Dennis James, Bob Barker and Tom Kennedy.
I actually remember seeing that show live on TV as a kid. One of the guy contestants, it was either him or some bearded cowboy, actually kissed Bob on the cheek when he got up on stage. Crazy! lol
Bob Barker had indeed an awesome career, since his retirement from THE PRICE IS RIGHT since Mid-June 2007. Besides, those are the classic video clips from Bob Barker himself amd of course, THE PRICE IS RIGHT on CBS.
The first-ever contestant who won the $10,000 playing Grand Game who chased Bob Barker around, he did not mention the other products that were higher than the target price.
i love when bob avoids people like the plague. Most people think he's avoiding contestants because their dirty. the reality was he didn't want them messing up the suit, hair and makeup.
You don't see the whole thing but, eventually he came back on stage and thanked him, and everything. He's not "ungrateful" that's for sure, he got caught up in the moment, and who wouldn't?
Its official Bob Barker needs to hire a Body Guard! Seriously though omg that woman who kissed him on the lips HER HAIR WAS JUST ZOMG! And the falling freezer was so funny. Also the woman who went to the little girls room! Thanks for posting this all.
People often mauled Bob in their excitement. Poor guy. He really had to put the kibosh on it the last few seasons. He was getting older and people were inadvertently hurting him for real. Those old bones can't take that.
I wonder how exhausted Bob was after tapings.I also wonder if he flopped onto his bed afterwards with or without Dorothy Jo.I may sound repetitive but I really wished I had all 6000+episodes of Bob's daytime tun.His 1977-1980 run would be included in my video collection.
I remember seeing the longest "Come On Down", they called a contestant. The camera kept panning the audience for about a minute or two , finally an elderly woman sitting almost in the back , stood up and started walking VERY SLOWLY toward the stage. I seriously thought they were going to have the page pick her up & carry her
Or the guy sitting in the front row wearing a shirt saying "Two In The Plinko...One In The Stinko". He could be clearly seen on the left side of the screen when they showed the contestants.. The production staff didnt notice it for the first half of the taping. When they came back for the 2nd half...the guy had on a official Price Is Right shirt 😳😆
@tracemaster100 Nope ^.^ (well I guess technically but terra firma doesn't do that except via Earthquake, and in any case the whole of the building would have shifted a bit) So either wind, backspin (unlikely considering the power with which she hit it), an uneven green (also unlikely), or she somehow planted a magnet on the ball (the less said about the likeliness of that the better). The air currents just happened to be in her favor that day.
5:56 sounds like Chris Rock yelling, "It's in the hole!" Also, I liked it when Bob would fuck with the contestants like that. Well, when it meant they were going to win. Later, he started doing it sometimes when they DIDN'T win. Everyone had become so used to him delaying and being funny before a big win. They would be so sure they had won when he would do that. Then BAM! You lose. You could have knocked these people over with a feather when that happened.
Word Unheard that's one of the many things i loved about bob, When I played along at home, Soon as he does that delayed messing around, I was sure at least 99/5% of the time, i knew somebody won. another thing i loved was at certain times, bob would bring an animal who was up for adoption on stage, which peaked our interest in a dog, which we had 2, and yes, they have been adopted, spayed, and neutered! somebody should do a compilation of times when he brought animals on stage!
The Price is Right episodes were far funnier and more entertaining when Bob Barker was hosting the show. Since Drew Carey has taken over, the episodes became boring. Bob Barker was the real star of the show.
A great legend that we lost last Saturday, he was 99 years old and he was most iconic game show host ever after all these years. Godspeed Bob Barker, you will be missed and we love you.
Thank you Bob for 35 great years. You will surely be missed after this year.
Hands down! Bob Barker is the BEST GAMESHOW HOST EVER! I miss ya!
Classic! Bob's "scream" when the teeth snapped is reminiscent of the great comedian Jackie Gleason
Bob Barker is forever.
The Golden Road winner running into the audience is one of my all-time favorites. The Samoans are also some of the best clips.
This is the best running game show in history. Drew Carey does a good job at but no one can be as good as Bob Barker.
Agreed. No one can replace Bob.
GREAT! Loved those clips.Bob WAS The Price Is Right! Drew is good, but he simply cannot compare.
These contestants really know how to make TPIR so memorable.
Within the next 20 years we will have some Drew Carey moments as well but Bob Barker would never ever be replaced
I love when they didn't even win the big prize yet and they pick him up and squish him lolol I love Bob :)
Bob INTERACTED and REacted to contestants and made the show FUN!!!! The current host.....hosts.

Bob Barker had a good run in his time.
That’s an understatement, if you think about it.

Patricia is the reason you have to go to the facilities before you go into the Bob Barker studios and it is cold in there.
I had to rewind several times! Tooooooo funny! Lol!
The first-ever contestant who won the $10,000 playing Grand Game who

Janice was such a stone cold fox. I've never felt such a need for a dental exam in my life! :)

Here are the best/funny bits from the American "Price Is Right" program with our first host: Bob Barker. 🇺🇲 🇺🇲
I remember a lot of those fun times from the late 70s when I was a kid tell the present when he retired
Those Samoan women contestants just couldn't give ol' Bob a break!
Imagine If That Was Treasure Hunt Host Geoff Edwards Hosting The Price Is Right.
My favorite all time moment on the show is when that hefty black woman is chasing him around.
It TRULY gave me closure at the end......when she FINALLY caught him!!!!
For me, it was when the black woman was in the bathroom when her name was called.
I thought that was cute and unintentionally funny at the same time.
Barker is the very best!!!!
Wow Happy Moments with a nice guy..
so special at 4:12...generally, Mr.Barker wasn't so expressive...love...
I hope Bob Barker had a wonderful medical plan back when he hosted TPIR! LOL!
If you have never been to The Bob Barker studios it is several flights of stairs up.
He had an awesome career.
this is insance funny great stuff!
Its official Bob Barker needs to hire a Body Guard!
Seriously though omg that woman who kissed him on the lips HER HAIR WAS JUST ZOMG! And the falling freezer was so funny. Also the woman who went to the little girls room!

People often mauled Bob in their excitement. Poor guy.
He really had to put the kibosh on it the last few seasons. He was getting older and people were inadvertently hurting him for real. Those old bones can't take that.
Gosh I miss Bob.
LOL love the vintage brown suits
2:53 Lmao that's commitment right there
I didn't realize Bob got so pummeled [sp] by the contestants throughout the show!
Hey what ever happened to that siren, after a contestant won at a game? That hasn't been on in years!!
How bout some Best of The Price is Right: first four contestant openings. That's my favorite part.
Especially the lady with the tube top
I remember seeing the longest "Come On Down", they called a contestant.
The camera kept panning the audience for about a minute or two , finally an elderly woman sitting almost in the back , stood up and started walking VERY SLOWLY toward the stage. I seriously thought they were going to have the page pick her up & carry her
I like the freezer part!

I miss Bob
With all those people freaking out you'd think they'd invest in some sort of security system
"you were chasing me in the hayloft"
omg rofl
Aw ha ha haw haw! 😂😂
Good very very good!! :D
I love how the Samoan women pick up Bob!
She was always so pretty and classy. As a child, I loved Holly to death.
That one woman was adorable.....I don't even care if I win.
@eemmeennddeell I agree!!! That moment always breaks me up laughing!!!!
Now I know why Bob retired--he was tired of always being mugged!!!
when you get old. you get afraid to picked up
I love the clip at :50.
Or the guy sitting in the front row wearing a shirt saying "Two In The Plinko...One In The Stinko". He could be clearly seen on the left side of the screen when they showed the contestants..

😳😆
Bob Barker had it better than Richard Dawson if you ask me! LOL
5:50 is hilarious! lmao
"i dont even care if i win!" i'd hit that in 1977
When the lady fainted
I remember Dian Parkinson well...I think Bob got his money's worth...and so did she.
2:14 colonel sanders haha.
@Grapes428 They still get to hug Bob? How?
LMAO!! you could be on to something there. I'm mean he's ancient!
@tracemaster100 Nope ^.^ (well I guess technically but terra firma doesn't do that except via Earthquake, and in any case the whole of the building would have shifted a bit)
