Aww Lily babe hope you understand the meaning behind it and just not because you need it to get married. It’s a special meaning behind every sacrament. Love you both dearly, enjoy ur stay while it last.
I got married by church 5 years ago and it has been the most beautiful day of my life even after having kids lol To me it means our marriage was blessed by God and I consider my marriage sacred. Definitely not the same as signing a paper.
I just got married in the Catholic church in October and when I tell you it was so special just thinking about it makes me emotional. I highly recommend but totally up to y’all. On a side note, I identify as a modern Catholic 😂 I believe in the foundation of my faith but there are certain things I do not agree with such as the birth control you mentioned. As long as my heart is in it, I believe its my personal journey.
I love that you said you’re not a fan of church that’s nothing wrong. You are a believer and gone as long as you know God will get you through everything you should be good. The gathering at church is good as well, but you believe in God and knowing that he’s the only one is the best
Doing my confirmation took me out of the doubts about being catholic the not sure how I felt but I guess also the teacher has a lot to do with that. Another subject the church did adapt a little to modern times as apposed to orthodox. So idk just know that’s part of a big blessing towards you your relationship and completion of the sacramentos ❤
My fam is currently in Celaya Guanajuato living their best life! Sunday there going to the basilica!😩😩 The last time I was on a plane was at 10 months old I’m 30 now and have never been on one since🤷♀️
I got married by catholic church 2yrs ago and i had already had the female sterilization procedure 10yrs ago when i was unaware of birth contraception and the catholic beliefs. The priest explained to me during confession that times have changed and its important to be responsible with family planning…
I would say follow your heart in wether getting married through Church or not. I did get married through Church because I thought about my future kids, which I have two now. I want to be able to teach them about God and church and set a good example for them. I want them to know God the way I do. Sometimes I feel like religion is slowly dying off because it’s easier to live without rules and fear of God. That’s my opinion, but I know that whatever you guys decide, God will be the center of yalls marriage and y’all will be blessed.
Im from Yuriria, Gto❤ You guys should go for la feria el 4 de enero banda los recoditos is performing or the jaripeo el 5 de enero luis r is performing. Its lots of fun
Reading through the comments I see that there’s a lot of people haven’t done their confirmation so I don’t feel too bad. For me the fact that nowadays you need to be older to do it is the reason why we don’t follow up and stop at first communion. Maybe finding a church where you feel comfortable and fit in is an option. Currently working on that myself.
I need to go and take my 17 yr old. Last time I step foot in Mexico was 2001. N my mom took me to pay a manda for receiving my kidney transplant. It’s been 23 yrs this year.
I recently got married & we are believers of god but we didn’t get married by church lol we felt like the church treats it like a business & we didn’t like the vibe so we did the ceremony at our reception with a pastor. And I wouldn’t trade that for the world ❤️ it was beautiful. Wherever you guys decide to get married at god is EVERYWHERE & it’s not mandatory to do it by church!
I agree with you Lily 💯 with religion etc and I also want to get my confirmación. I don’t like talking about it because I get overwhelmed and people can go at it y para Que lol 😊
May God bless your marriage. ❤️ The sacrament of marriage is important in my opinion but its up to yal. I see getting married by church as sacrament and blessing by God. A marriage is God the husband and wife. 🙏❤️ You also have to think about when you have kids one day would yal want to baptize your baby etc. 🙏
Omg I 100% agree with Lily about the church. You don’t need the church to have faith. And I also don’t drink milk like that. I think Cow milk is meant to help supplement the baby calf.
I'm not really religious at all but I do want to get married at church. Religion is overwhelming but I think it's the people that make it a bad rep. I think everyone can pick and chose how they want to follow it. I go to classes de pareja w my partner and it has helped us alot. I don't go to church tho lol I hope you get married in church it's definitely different through el civil
In my experience, they ask if the godparents are a couple (not my case), if so that’s when they ask for the proof of religious marriage. They also asked for proof of the classes you need to attend for godparents.
We got married through church para recibir la bendición de Dios. Im Catholic but don’t go to church often. I am a believer. I would suggest get married by church when your heart desires and not por compromiso.
I am super religious (Christian) and I got married through paper, not in church… does this mean I’m not married or what lol that’s such a dumb statement for people to make.

I’m in Leon Guanajuato now send me places to go or eat
If you want to be a godparent the church asks if your married through church. Just letting you know if your thinking of being a godparent.
Most churches are actually not strict about it. Most don’t even ask for the marriage paperwork. I know from experience lol
I’m already a good parent to a few kids ❤❤
@LilyandBAE You're great with the kids ❤. Seen your videos on your channel.
In my experience, they ask if the godparents are a couple (not my case), if so that’s when they ask for the proof of religious marriage. They also asked for proof of the classes you need to attend for godparents.
Being married through church is not on code. They are just money hungry! What is on code is having all sacraments before being a godparent.
Moroleón in the house 😩
I haven’t even done my confirmation & yes I’m a believer but I just don’t go to church.
X2
I can't drink milk straight just with cereal I can
I grew up in the Catholic religion, but as I grew up I love an d believe in God. I just don’t believe in religion.
Come on Lily, I Love goat milk. What Mexican doesn’t like goat milk? The best 🤤🤤
Es todo but you need to do videos with pero a noche los compadres blanca

You guys gotta be grateful to God for everything you guys have including your relationship.. you don't need to be religious to believe in God.
If you believe in god that’s all that matters Lily babe
Thank you ❤❤😊
I am super religious (Christian) and I got married through paper, not in church… does this mean I’m not married or what lol that’s such a dumb statement for people to make.
Then why do you want to confirm? Just to have a catholic ceremony.
