@@Candicedickinsonllc No depends on how you do it, products and timeline.. also knowing what tone you want so you can have the right products for it at home + what kind of hair you have, knowing your hair and its limit. But dying is always a risk no matter what :P I've done blonde at home, ombre, different brown tones, black, jet black, dark brown with purple undertone.. all kinds of colors lol

Nice! I had my hair highlighted last summer too after 6 years of no dye and although it wasn’t a a diva salon, she knows how to work on curly hair, and did the same process and also used oil conditioner to protect the hair! Looks beautiful!

Deva curl is doing everything right but just one thing wrong.... they should stop collouring the hair from the roots to the tips. Because the scalp produces alot of heat the roots will process faster and if you start at the roots the roots wil look lighter then the rest.

That’s only applied to bleach. When you colour the hair you can start from anywhere. You can start from the roots and fade the colour down, then process all the hair for the same amount of time. She won’t have a ‘hot root’ if her roots are the same colour as her lengths.
